auto lock / keys inside

I just would like to confirm that your 2016 ILX will not lock with the keys inside?

You are correct. Power locks will not auto lock with keys inside during normal operation.

If you have the 2nd key in the key. The car won't lock as well.

Also you can not lock close the trunk with the keys in it... phew!

All cars with proximity key function this way. You cannot lock your keys in the car.
