Humor me. I have a 2013 TSX Sport Wagon Tech. What features will this add and what is the install?

I also have a 2013 Honda Civic EX-L with nav. Same questions as above.

Phones are LG- G3 on Sprint.

Hi

For 2013 ILX if you get NavTool3.0-HDMI you will get the following

Features:
Limitless Smartphone mirroring via HDMI Input
3.5mm Audio Output.
2 Composite Video Inputs.
Camera on automatically in reverse
USB Charger
USB Updatable

The biggest thing for many user is smartphone mirroring, most people don't like factory nav and want to use one of the apps available on their smartphone.

Many people want to have Waze on the screen at all times.

Thank You

I assume you meant Civic when you wrote ILX - correct?

Two more questions:

How difficult is the installation? What is required?

The camera comes on automatically in reverse on models with backup cameras (like the TSX tech and the Civic EX-L Nav) so what is this additional feature.

I agree that I'd be most interested in having the smartphone nav (Google maps, Scout or Waze) displayed on screen.

Hi

Ignore the camera part doesnt apply to vehicles with factory camera.

the smartphone mirroring for ILX is the main feature here.

Thank You

Since you have twice ignored my request for information on the installation, I can only assume that it is quite difficult and requires much of the console and dash to be torn apart.

I can also assume that this also doesn't work with the Civic as you always refer to the ILX when I say Civic.

FYI HDMI in an ACURA ILX is only for ACURA link navigation that's 59.99 in the App Store and everyone hate it, why spend 59.99 just to get one app when you can mirror entire smartphone

Rdx 2014

Regardless of the issues I finally got my NAVTOOL 3.0 in a few weeks ago and finally got around to installing it. I spoke with chat for instructions on the additional wires. Very easily installation as I've installed NAVTOOL and full head units + amps for others.

Upon completing the installation I plugged everything in and the Navtool lights came on and off and refuses to work.

What irritates me more is that when I received the device I was convinced it was someone else's return as it had scratches like it had been pulled from a previous installation. I sent them a email but was hoping to get some input on what else I may try before going through the pain of getting it fully exchanged...

RDX 2014
Purple -> Red
Black + Gray -> Ground
Yellow -> ignored
Blue to pin 26 on 28pin harness which is white on an RDX

Is there something else I'm missing here???

Thank u all for w/e help

Wait. I thought this was "plug and play". If so, why does one have to figure out which colors go where?

Hi

Just alike all other NavTool products, vital video part is plug and play.

wires like accessory, ground, parking brake needs to be hooked up
