That's wide enough then, just looked kind of narrow just watch out for the awning looks like its going to be close. Did you leave provisions for HOOK Ups water power sewer for your RV. Just in case you have company they could stay there and have all the comforts of home. Not to mention when you go out you don't to go to dump your tanks you can do it at home. Looks great though.

It does look a little narrow from the picture. Unfortunately I don't have any hook ups. Remember I already spent all my money on the driveway.

I still have the front and side to lay down some bark and landscape. I have already gone through 3 yards of it! I rented a trailer even though I have a truck, cause I don't want to make 2-3 trips for bark. Will be getting 2-3 more yards!

I've used our edger to trim the grass in the very front of the home next to the sidewalk and the straight cut grass sure makes a big diff!

Later I'll be painting the house, haven't decided on the color just yet, I want something neutral yet stands out in a subtle way.

More projects... this one might take a couple weeks/months since I am not working on it full time. Just a little teaser.

Before:
Useless room for me. Didn't know what to do with it.

Useless half bath... and ugly too!

After a little bit of demo, still more to do.

New single piece tub\shower. I actually got pretty much most of what I need for the bathroom for under $750! Its a steal!

The driveway looks really great. Not sure if you had your house evaluated or anything but it looks like you may have taken out a load bearing wall when you knocked the corner out of that bathroom....the header above what used to be your bathroom door looks pretty substantial...usually telling that it is load bearing to some degree. I could be wrong, its impossible to tell without seeing the full home and the floor plan, roof structure, etc, but if thats load bearing you will want to put that corner back in immediately before your roof and ceilings start to sag.

BMTL, fortunately it's not. Lucky for me I guess! They just use a larger than normal beam there. I'll have to take out that cast iron vent pipe (3 of them) and use the modern PVC pipes.

Your curb appeal has skyrocketed. It looks awesome! Great job!!! It really inspires me to get moving on my front yard. Mine is pretty bad. Thankfully all I need to do is remove a tree, move a couple of sprinkler heads, and then lay some sod. I'd love a new driveway (mine has some cracks) but it's not bad enough to warrant replacing it (the $$$ could be better spent elsewhere).

My house could use a fresh coat of paint, too...

Looking good. I am near Seattle too, I think people need to realize there is some sort of weird markup on all home improvement costs out here; even during the recession. I am so sick of hearing "you paid what!!!??" after I went through 6 bids and days of research on a project. Though I am seeing amazing prices at nurseries due to overstock. I do some landscape planning if you want any ideas; I just wrapped up a little project in West Seattle a couple weeks ago.
Concrete seems to be the way to go here, my neighbors with asphalt always have to patch and re-seal, not to mention the moss here makes it slick real fast.

^ 2001 and a half It's my buddy's. It's a real clean one with 130k miles on it.

I don't like crawling in the crawl space to do plumbing!

CLSter, any tips for the front?

That looks 10 times better. Night/day! Good for you!

WOW! I never thought a simple driveway and some fence could make that big a difference. Looks much newer now. Great investment. You are absolutely right about the concrete lasting longer than asphalt. That price seems very good as well. Very few concrete drives in New England because they cost so much more. The newest thing seems to be pavers or cobblestone edging / entry patches. That is what I am thinking to do on my asphalt drive - putting cobblestones between asphalt and garage door lip since asphalt is beginning to sink.

Awesome. Im thinking of throwing on a 10'x24' addition to the master bedroom to make the bedroom larger and the master bath much larger with a walkin closet as i cant just take down a wall for the bath like that.

It's so much better when it's finished and I can enjoy it, I just didn't have enough time to finish it when I wanted. Well on to another project, meeting with someone today to see how much it would cost to clean out and re-insulate the crawlspace!

I've talked to them and it sounds reasonably priced http://www.americancrawl.com/

Ok so the quote was for 2k to clean/sanitize and deodorize plus new insulation of the crawlspace, do you think it is worth it?

So, the crawlspace has been cleaned\sanitized\deodorized and new insulation put on the underside of the floor plus duct works and water pipes.

Thanks Aman! I can already feel the difference in how fast the house gets warm and stays warm! And how long the hot water stays hot when you turn it on again after not using it. Well worth the cost for this service!

Is that solid foam, or can you still pull it back to access the floor boards, if necessary?

Well I will be ripping up the deck this coming weekend! But I've been updating the garage. I've ripped all the old drywall out and cleaned up all the crap that was behind the wall.

I've insulated with new insulation and put on new drywall, now time for a new shop heater! Anyone have or heard of a Dimplex DWGH4031 garage heater???

Opinions on it?
Does it work well?

^ That Dimplex kicks butt! Only $70 to boot!

Oh and my deck during and after the rip up. Concrete guy is coming to pour a new slab!

Those tracks are from a Toro Dingo TX 525 Wide track, much help! You can see what's left of the concrete to the right of the photo, I've already dumped 2 trailers worth, but the trailer couldn't take any more.

^ Thanks, I am thinking of putting asphalt on the left of this picture here so that I can drive back straight to my future shed. Not sure depending on cost! And also re-landscape my backyard.

I'll keep the current grass area but will the area where there are no grass I will put bark and trees and bushes.
