BBQ Grill. How about Traeger Grills ?

Man..... I am in search of a different grill.

Right now I own a New Brausfield BBQ / Smoker which allow to do both charcoal and wood. The only thing is I hate the fugging wait time to allow cooking. Somedays or majority of the time I like to get it COOKED!!! So I like to put a side my BBQ pit/smoker and get something differnt.

I was looking at a cool gas grill. Price range no more then $800.00.

I was leaning towards either a TURBO to BBQ Galore or an WEBER.

Then, I came across the electic heater pellet / smoke style grills called Traeger Grills.

The technology is simple and easy to understand. Claims food is great.

Check the video and let me know what you think?

Here is the technology of it: http://www.traegergrills.com/how_it_works.htm

See.. looks sime. Any owners on input about these grills by Traeger? Thanks

Well from what I saw from the video its just an offset smoker that uses pellets.. ITS NOT A GRILL. Its a Smoker.

I have a Turbo Elite 5 burner and love it. I also have a Brausfield offset smoker they are for differant uses. If you were looking to be in the sub 800 range I would look at a turbo. When I was looking for my grill I was looking for something in the 700 range and after looking I realized that to get what I wanted I would need to spend more. Mainly because I do alot of entertaining so I needed something with ALOT of cooking area. I would also look at the grills at sams they have some really nice grills for a good price pay close attention to the burners, Flame Tamers ( something with cermic bricks to help even out the heat is best ) and of couse make sure you buy big enough to handle what your needs will be.
