I wont be taking my day 90 pictures. The reason being that I haven't worked out in weeks and my "final" results wont be accurate. I should be starting my next round probably a week from now.

kind of a sad ending to my first attempt. P90x is a good program, and I believe in. Lets see what happens next time around.

For the year, I'm on about day 209 for P90x.

For the first 4 months I was on it 6 days a week. Right now, I work out roughly 4 days a week on P90x. I didn't have much in terms of weights, just 20s and 8s. But I recently bought a set of dumbbells a month ago to take it to the next level.

I don't really follow the diet plan. I just try not to eat dumb stuff too often. (I love cookies too much )

Yes, I have the 4 disc set as well as the 13 disc set. The 4 disc set is a little tougher than P90x. I couldn't imagine starting with it.

Funny story about the word trim. On the day Horace Grant signed with the Orlando Magic, I was at someone's beach time share (ours was in the same hotel) and I said literally: holy shit Horace Grant signed with the Magic. Some stupid, defensive, fat cunt thought I said: there is no trim in here. But the fucked up thing is that she didn't tell me that until I found out from someone else after I got kicked out (I was a teen then). I didn't even know what trim meant. In Miami we don't really see that. We say chocha or choach or coochie (thanks 2 Live Crew). Ok that is all.

Thinking about starting p90x at the beginning of next year. I am working on getting myself back in shape well enough so that I can keep up and perform throughout all the routines.

Keep us posted on how it works for ya. You did really slim up lifetimeofwar. Look forward to seeing your new results.

Thank you Chas, it's definitely a good program as long as you stick to it.

Well, I finished the 13 week program. As mentioned previously, no before/after pictures.

Overall, I'm impressed. Not only with the program overall, but with my desire and willingness to finish. I didn't think I could stay motivated for three months.

Results --- I lost 23 pounds in the 13 weeks; 174 down to 151. I did not follow the p90x diet, but did incorporate a diet that worked for me; sensible. That was a huge part of the success, I think. I did buy their recovery drink, which they should bottle and sell in stores. Sooooooooo freakin' good! I do feel that helped out, especially in the first 4-6 weeks when my body was in OMGWTFBBQ mode.

In all, it's a worthwhile investment. I am continuing, but will go down to 3-4 days a week. 6 days a week is a huge amount of dedication. I think I can maintain and continue to lose weight (if I want)... I'm pretty happy with where I am. Any more loss and I'll have to start going to a whole new wardrobe.

Hoping to bring my weight down a bit, and definitely take my body fat % from 17/19% to 12/14%. I just finished day one workout and I'm exhausted. I'll update w/ day 30 pics when the time comes.

Congrats!
After loosing 25 lbs. last year doing P90X, I'm back at it again until it's outdoor running season.
So far, after 3 weeks, I'm down another 5 lbs. with 10 to go til I reach my goal. I'll be finishing the program 3 days before I leave for Hawaii, so I should be in good beach shape.

I am 3 days into this. I can't walk! 15-20 minutes into each of the 3 workouts I have thought " I can't do this ". I have stuck with it though.

I have decided to do this even though my schedule prevents me from sticking to 6 days a week straight. I am expecting this to affect my results, but am still hoping I see some results. After all, this much hurt can't be for nothing...

One thing that really sucks is that I am working out in my basement and the ceiling is not high enough for some of the moves. I have to make do for now.

You just need to stick with it. 6 days a week is a bitch.

And yes, I had height problems too. Some of the exercises I did have to modify. Shit, run in place if you have do. Just don't go eat a Krispy Kreme.

first week or to two is an absolute BITCH, but it's worth it. And you don't have to do it 6 times a week for 13 weeks to get some results. I usually only do 3-4 program workouts a week and run 1-2 times a week on top of that.

As Tony and Scrib say, just stick with it - even when it's tough or you just don't have the will power some days, work through it and it gets MUCH easier. When I look at my reps/weight used at the beginning compared to the end, it was like a different person finished the program.

Everything is on the laptop and ready to go.

Now do I start it this Monday or next? Depends on if I order or buy the pull up bar and weights in store I guess...

I'm terrified.

You are either frauding, or you've been doing it wrong for the past five years. In your pics, you look like someone who's never touched a dumbbell once in their entire life. Nonetheless, props to you for taking the steps into a healthier lifestyle.

Frauding? I don't think that's a word.. If you carefully read my first post it mentions that I have improved my strength and that my body wasn't to my satisfaction. What I have been doing wrong is that I have not change my routine.
