If this is the total for the shoulder press, it should be in the 5x100lbs format

For example:

5x50-lbs
5x60-lbs
5x70-lbs
etc
etc

James

We did power cleans today at CFE. We kind of stuck to 3 on the minute, but slowed down a bit to work on form and instruction......

shoulder press last night:
135x5, 145x5, 150x5, 150x4, 145x4 + 1 push press.

I was excited last night, 155 was my max shoulder press from the crossfit total a month or so ago. If I can do 150 5 times now I should be a little better on the max.

I'm actually in Rockville, Ali. If you'd like to come down sometime to workout, you're more than welcome.

I remember that one. It really sucked for me since I didn't have a wallball or a rower so we did 45# thrusters (wallball sub), 75# SDHP, box jumps, 75# push-press, and 45# SDHP (row sub).

Yeah when I did those I had to sub burpees for the row and 45# KB SDHP's.

Today's WOD is gonna hurt good.

good time! It took me 20 min. I did the first 100 pretty quickly, then did the rest in sets of 10-20 with little breaks. When I tried to just blast through it I would start to fall down.

Uh, there were like 8 times in the middle of the workout where my legs were like, "yeah, this blows, i'm out." Luckily I didn't twist my ankles or bust a knee cap from lazy quads.

And Now for my 1000th post, I give you Fight Gone Bad 2.....

Fight Gone Bad 2007

CrossFit Eastside and our team will be taking on the fight against Prostate Cancer. This hits lose to home as I lost my grandfather a few years ago to prostate cancer. I've set a goal of raising $1000 in donations and 260 points for the event. We all know how much FGB hurts, but it's well worth it. Thank you for taking a look and your support is appreciated.

Since May or so. I've always been decent at pullups though. You can thank the Marine Corps for that.

When I first started CF'ing I think I was around 18. I jumped up to 30 pretty quickly and it's been a slow climb to 34 now. The sad thing is though, I've not gotten a MU yet

what?!? That doesn't make any sense. maybe you're not kipping hard enough. I have to swing my legs up like a mad man, I almost did a back flip last night when I was trying to overcompensate for being to tired to do one.

good goal, but start slow. I figure if all the XF coaches do it that way, it must be okay. Plus that's the only way I can say I can do a MU.

gonna have to postpone CFT until tomorrow. Quads are still just sore enough to ruin my max squat efforts. But anxious to see how far I've come along in ~2 months!

We're going to run a CFT on the 8th. I'm anxious to see what I get as the last time, I was just starting crossfit and my numbers were really low.

Oh and I made the homepage for CrossFit Eastside.

Finally getting around to the CFT tomorrow(monday)... Gonna have to do "Nancy" on rest day. I'm also thinking about volunteering for the FGB prostate cancer event. There's a gym locally that's participating. ITR, I took a quick read at the requirements; is it true you have to raise $150 to be able to participate? I'm not good at asking people for money.
