Strange Issue - Need Your Input

I own a 2009 sh-awd that I like to drive the way it was meant to be driven. I have a very strange occurrence when I reach the speed from 80-87mph. When I hit that speed range, it feels as if the wheels have become unbalanced. It feels like a lot of vibration/irregular road contact. BUT when I proceed through that range, the car smooths out and rides normal. A most perpelexing issue. Please help with your ideas on what it could be. I am very certain it isn't engine related but more aerodynamics.

what brand tires and the speed rating?
have you checked the alignment lately?

a bad alignment will make the car feel like it's flying or unbalanced at higher speeds.

also, has the tires been balanced and rotated?

If you can find a shop in your area using a Road Force balancing machine... that may help. At least they can eliminate the case its the tires, one or more of them.

Also, the 4G TL is known to misbehave in high cross winds, but I mean seriously high winds.

PS. some of the stuff on your car, aftermarket spoilers, deflectors, etc may have altered the aerodynamics of the car with unpredictable results at high speeds. Not suggesting to remove them, but you never know.

bent wheel or a tire is improperly mounted and the bead hasn't sealed. A tire shop should be able to diagnose it. Out of balance wouldn't disappear at higher speeds, it'd get worse! Bent wheels have harmonics that allow vibrations to appear and disappear in certain speed ranges. Went through this with 2 bents wheels on the 760

Definitely sounds like a out of balance wheel.

I believe that's just the flux capacitor warming up, from 80-87mph. Since it isn't used very often, it can be a little unnerving when it turns on.

Watch what happens when you hit 88mph. You'll shit bricks.
