Try putting a little polish or wax (obviously non abrasive) on the camera. It won't totally eliminate condensation, but I find that it helps the moisture run off. I do this will all my cars.

I also wipe it with my finger as I approach the car during inclement weather as you do.

I have the 12 AWD and I find the acceleration the most annoying. Sometimes it goes and other times it feels like I'm barely touching the gas. Of course, some say the torque convertor, but then again the dealership says everything is normal

Can't rip mp3s to local hard drive and display cuts off the song name and artist if it's too long. Both lame. :/ Everything else I can deal with. Oh and not annoying but it would have been nice to have heated steering wheel for the cold weather owners.

Rear seats don't fold down like on almost every other car.

I hate how the doors don't automatically shut all the way when I push them past the spring. I always have to go back to push a half latched door.

Is there any way to adjust this?

Can't turn off the car and keep the radio going. I like to keep listening to the story on the radio before going in to work sometimes and it is a major hassle with the push button operation.
Also I have to actually sit in this thing to get it started. Why doesn't my $40K Acura not have a remote starter but my buddy's crappy GM does?
No lane departure, no blind spot detection, no adaptive cruise control...my mom's CRV has these but not my fancy TL.
I could go on and on...junk floor mats, spark plug wiring harness that's amazingly frustrating to remove, dye peeling off the leather seats, and last but not least...a transmission that can't decide on a gear, ever.

1. Can't go from ON/RUN to ACCESSORY without going through OFF. I also like to keep the radio going while I gather my stuff to exit.
2. Center display goes blank unless I push enter/ok button then Audio button. Why can't I see all that glorious radio information by default without having to go through a map screen when I rarely use the map?

hack to keep radio on (assuming auto trans and keyless access)

with motor running, foot on brake:
1. shift to "N"
2. press button to shut motor off
3. shift to "P"

radio should continue to play through entire process

1. Rear seats not folding down
2. I wish the temp controls for the HVAC were spin dials like GM and not the "Switch" style

My 2012 is driven by my wife daily and her complaint is the car's interior is a little too wide for her to rest her arms anywhere. I don't have that problem but there is a noticeable difference in width compared to my 2001 CL. The 2012 TL replaced the CL so it's all fresh in my mind. Compared to the CL the TL is wider, longer, seats are less supported but looks like they can handle fat people much better. Think that's why it has more room, to hold the fat people in the US. Visibility isn't great. Better then some sports car I owned. Have to say the hands free phone isn't the best system I have seen. Still very happy with the purchase so it doesn't matter, all cars have a few downsides and upsides.

Having nothing better to do with my time, I will post this:
Stupid leaky tpms - who needs this shit? Expensive and useless.
Rear seats not folding down (known of course prior to purchase, so can't really complain)
Trunk opening is tiny, have to be very attentive to put a golf trolley in trunk, or a driver for that matter
Roof/sunroof rattle
Harsh suspension.
But it's a nice car, goes like hell, awesome on the highway, no other issues, very basic inexpensive maintenance

rattles are annoying, Bluetooth can't transcribe updated audio info. 1-3 gear is an adventure when you accelerate and suspension on SHAWD can be rough at times

I think lack of folding seats is not really an anoyance. I knew that was the case before I purchased the car so while I feel it's a major oversight and extremely useful feature that's missing, I can't really be annoyed by it since I chose it.

My actual anoyances, in order of how annoying I find them:
1. Automatic headlight washer - I know when it goes off and when it doesn't and in my case it's on more often then not. It ends up wasting huge amounts of windshield washer fluid. And it doesn't have it's own fuse I can pull. It's on that 6-in-1 fuse that also has SH-AWD and some other components on it.
2. Cabin noise - for a car of this class and price it should be way quieter.
3. Having to click the knob every time I start the car just to see the map

Another annoyance - it's difficult for me to tell the coolant level in the reserve tank due to it's shape and location

Most annoying thing....

It's larger than the new TLX and faster by a good measure. I love to buy new cars and, given that my TL has to do double duty as the family hauler sometimes, the size of the TLX is a game stopper for me. When I had a TLX 3.5 loaner and my TL sitting here waiting for an airbag, I lined the two cars up several times and the TL flat out walked the TLX in every race of any kind. I talked to the service manager a bit about it and he thinks the TLX transmission needs to be reflashed for better shifting. IDK. From 45MPH on, the TL just picks up speed more and more and leaves the TLX behind.

honestly- this is trivial but that fact that I cannot adjust the clock to 24 hours drives me nuts considering everything else in my life is adjusted that way. Seems stupid but even your basic chevy Cruze allows that.

Why on earth can I not enable the wallpaper while driving? I can change the pictures, re-configure it all. but for safety reasons I cannot enable it while moving?
My wife's 2017 TLX allows it no problem, I'm guessing there's no way to modify this eh?

Dropped my car off for some service yesterday, and couldn't call to tell them that I was running late, as HFL failed to fully connect to my phone (I say "fully", because at the start of the trip, I was able to take a call, and the phone "appeared" to be connected, but if i tried to dial out, it said there was no phone). It does that from time to time, and the only way to fix appears to be to shut off the ignition, and restart. Told the girl at the desk that this was the one reason I would not buy another Acura.

That said, getting the car back today is pretty satisfying, and it's an entirely different experience than the base 2005 Accord I had as a loaner. That SH-AWD is superb.

When it's -20C, and you drive into a warm parkade, the heated mirrors just might be the best feature.

Goofy azz transmission. Low speed shifts are stuttery and wonky. Both dealers say nothing is wrong with it.
