Lease End Question - Registration
Hello all, My lease is ending in July 16 2015 and that is as well as when my registration is due as well. I just received my registration from CA DMV and I wonder should I pay for the registration or should I turn in my vehicle to Acura as is since I do not own the vehicle ever after the 16th of July? I checked the lease contract and they never say you are require to do so, so I will assume I dont have to pay for it. What is your experience on this? Should I start the scheludemy end of lease inspection or should I wait?

if your lease is ending. turn in your lease.
why would you consider paying for registration when your lease is ending? the new owner of our current car after you turn it in will be registering the car, not you.
i assume this is the first time you ever leased a car?
your lease inspection should be a few days before your due date..

Laws....As potmilkz stated, if your renewal for your registration coincides with the return of your lease, then don't renew your registration on that vehicle.
That being said, if your plates need to be renewed now and your lease is only coming to an end in July, then that is different. A vehicle is always required to have a valid registration.
