Installing XLR8 exhaust.

Just got it. Sitting at home haven't looked at it yet. Should I even try installing it myself or take it to someone with a lift. Not sure if anyone had experience with it. Thanks.

Installed mine in my driveway, just take your time aligning the tips. It really helps to have an extra set of hands.

Depends on how much experience you feel you have working on cars, I heard some people had trouble installing the XLR8 exhaust. Shouldn't be too hard.
P.s: I had mine installed at XLR8.

The problem I'm running into is that even after raising my coilovers for winter after jacking the back up I still don't have enough room under the car to get it unbolted from the j pipe, how the hell you guys do it with out a lift?

jack it up and put jack stands under it. It's a little tight, but do-able.

It's a bolt on system so it's very straight forward to install.

good for you for installing yourself, I just didn't have the patience to align my tips myself and coughed up $100 for an install. Looks awesome!

I love the sound of our exhaust. I know I'm a bit biased but it's almost-exotic note really transforms the car.

great job on the video. Just out of curiosity, how did you mount your GoPro? I'd love to a video similar to yours as I never get to hear my own car drive by

Just use suction cup. It's strong enough to stay secured.

Any chance you have a video of inside the cabin at highway speeds, say 70-80 mph ?

Thanks.

of video from INSIDE the car when you are at wide open throttle??

i'm curious how the exhaust sounds during day in / day out driving? droning? i've had experience with exhasut sytems and while some can sound amazing to you when you first put them in - in a few weeks they start to drive you crazy... at least *some* can.... especially if they drone at highway / cruising speeds.

i'm curious if you find the exhaust pleasant for daily driving..when you're just cruising to/ from work, the store, and NOT trying to drive fast and enjoy the sporty sound.

do you think this added *any* power or shoudl one consider this really a "cosmetic" / mod that enhances the SOUND of the car only???

thanks.
