Installed LED in Fogs, both worked, 5mins later only 1 works....
So my cousin gave me a LED conversion kit for my fogs. I installed both into the fogs tried them, and they worked and looked beautiful. After putting the under body shields back on, I start the car and realize the drivers side fog does not work. I drove over to my cousin for another set (to swap to see what happens) I plugged in another 3 bulbs and none of them want to work.
I assume I could have blown a fuse? But is there 2 separate fuses for the fog lights (1 fog light works, other one does not)? Anyone else have any idea?

Are you using a relay kit or just connecting them straight to the fog light harness?

Have you switched the two bulbs to the other side to test if it's the bulb and not the wiring?

The underhood relay/fuse box should have one for the fogs.

It's probably the lack of a relay. I added HIDs to my fogs and ran into a ton of electrical issues including all front lights turning off, flickering, slow/fast blinking, etc. I added a 55w relay harness to the fogs and all problems went away. If the LED kit is drawing too much power this might happen to you too.

It in fact was the fuse for the fog light (drivers side) that was burned out. I am just wondering what had caused it to burn out?
Everything works as it should for now (I say this coming from owning 4 German cars in the past ) just when you think all is well, a new issue arises. So for now fingers crossed, but if it ends up burning another fuse, I will definitely be purchasing a relay.

poor quality bulbs can draw non-expected amounts of current which may cause the fuse to pop
