You think a paint meter would be enough to warrant asking the dealer to take it off with me present?
I want to avoid the possibilty of the dealer saying, "how do we know you didn't put on another bumper and blame us for it." because I removed the bumper to validate that the VIN does in fact not match.
I was thinking of using a paint meter and if the meter reads a paint difference, I can say that the seams don't feel uniform and the according to the paint meter, these two pieces have been painted at different times. would you mind proving to me that the front bumper's VIN does in fact match.

djoulez - I test drove your car a few nights before you got it. I went to the dealer at about 1 on Saturday for an extended test drive and to probably buy it, but you were signing the papers when I walked in. But I picked up my own last weekend, so I only hated you for about a week 
I got basically the same car, '12 6 speed. loving it so far. I'll probably see you cruising around sometime, we must be in the same area

Anyone in the Chicagoland area with a 4G TL headlight swap wanna do a quick meet up?
Following some of these headlight retros pretty closely and from my readings, TSX-R seems to be the replacement projector of choice?
I once read somewhere and please correct me if I'm wrong, true good oem projectors still use 4300k bulbs but have a strong blue/purple color from a solid projector.
And that strength of that color can be intensified by the angle of the projector? Like someone put washers between the housing and the lens to intensify the color without sacrificing light output or cutoff sharpness.

i just did my tsx-r lens swap over the weekend, what a nice difference! also swapped in a 6k D2S bulb behind it.
don't bother meeting with someone first, just do the mod. I bought my lenses from The Retrofit Source for $40 for the pair
