Hey Acurazine,

Just curious how interested everyone would be in CNC'd aluminum alternator pulleys to keep the gains coming, and of course, match your XLR8 crank pulley or your UnorthodoxRacing underdrive pulleys!

These are not in production yet, however they might be if we can get enough support!

They'd be for the 4G TL/TLX, available in a polished aluminum.

what type of weight savings will be gained over the stock alternator pulley? Also will it fit the j35 of the tsx v6? I would be interested in it based on the weight savings and compatibility.

The pulley itself will be stock diameter, so it will not be underdriving anything unless you're running the UR underdrive pulley.

The usual weight savings are 30-60%, a big window I know, but we aren't exactly sure of the stock pulley weight, or the aluminum pulley yet; so it's hard to say. These things will become available when more are interested

The biggest benefit would be the looks, a CNC'd aluminum pulley to match the others and help dress up your engine bay (especially with the visible alternators of those J-series). The gains wouldn't be immensely noticeable since the alternator's resistance comes from the load on the charging system. However paired with the rest of the available light weight pulleys, in theory, you may pickup some HP.
