How many 2013 TL 6-speed manuals were produced?
I recently purchased a 2013 tl sh-awd 6 speed manual. During my search there only seemed to be 8-15 for sale in the US. I know they're rare but can't find production numbers.

I would be interested to know as well. Just curious, what you were able to get it for? I have 13' 6MT w 14k miles on it...i love it. I dont think id sell mine but i check autotrader every few weeks and have seen a bunch of MT for sale in Nj, Acura dealer asking $29k. They seem to be selling. Good luck w yours. Awsome car.

Our 4th gen TL 6speed manual V-6 is the "Last of a dying breed"
Last Acura i knew that offered manual transmission was in the 2.4l ILX.
I don't think Acura will bring the manual back unless they plan on resurrecting the type S or even the RSX. Shoot I wish!!! Sorry that's just me having a wet dream in my garage.

I recall the "take rate" had dropped to around 5% on the 6MT 4G TL. So you're right -- there aren't that many out there.
My dealer told me they only sold a handful of 6MTs.
Pity. It's a fantastic combo with the AWD and 3.7 V6.

Shocking considering they are 1 full second faster in the 1/4 mile and 0-60, such a huge difference, the 400 hp Cadillac xts vsport runs the same times as our car with the 6speed manual.

"Still, the goals of the six-speed TL are modest. Of the projected annual TL volume of 70,000 units, Acura only predicts five percent—or 3500—will be the TL SH-AWD with the manual transmission"

Back to a MT!
My last car was a 6-speed CL, and I think only 3500 were made of them. I know people did have a breakdown by trim and color - I know mine was 1 of 165 - black on black 6MT with navi. Finding a 6MT TL was a pain, I ended up shipping one from the rust belt to sunny SoCal, but it's pretty clean underneath.

I wanted to wait for it to get delivered before commenting on what I paid for it. $22k Acura certified with 68k miles. I actually got really lucky because the dealership didn't list all the Acura add ons in their ad. It has the factory ground kit all around, the door trim, door paint guards and upgraded 19" premium Acura wheels. Super clean inside and out. The delivery guys even commented they thought it was a new car when they saw it.

Sounds like you got an awesome deal. I think my car was 28K and it had 11k miles on it when I purchased it two years ago.
Looking at Auto Trader it seems its still selling for around the same price I paid 2 years ago . Outside of the airbag BS, its been a great car.

Do you want to swap cars for a day? I'd love to drive a 6spd, manual, just once, lol. But, of course, I'm teasing you. I could see all kinds of dumb-shit-type-things, that could happen, if I swapped cars with somebody, except for me mum.
Really love those 19" rims. Only problem I see, is the height of the sidewall. I think the short sidewall results in a bit harsher ride. I don't know, though, as I have 18" rims on my TL.
Again, congrats, and I hope you enjoy your new car!
