4G TL LED License Plate Bulbs
I really want to add LED's for the license plate. However, I don't want blue or anything too bright to where it's obvious it was aftermarket. Want them to look OEM like the new MDX lights in the back. Any links?

i got these on the recommendation from Thmanx
pair of Morimoto T10/194 LEDs (The Retrofit Source) for the licence plate lights since they have a flat COB board that would fire downward onto your license plate
This is Waldo87's car, i havent taken a pic of mine installed yet<br/>
walmart has a LED replacement bulb but paled in comparison to these, returned them for my money back

I went with the Philips XV bulbs:
I'm pretty happy with them - a little pricier than some options, but with Philips you know you're getting good quality, and these bulbs are a nice clean white without being crazy bright. A noticeable difference from OEM, but not as in-your-face as some of the other super bright options.
Also as an FYI - the 4G TL license plate bulbs actually point downwards towards the plate so an end-firing bulb (like the Philips) directs the most light onto the plate.

Any white, downward facing SMD LED with a 168 base should work.
I bought the 5K white bulbs with a single smd LED from VLEDs and they work perfect. The ones with 4 LEDs in one bulb were too bright for a license plate IMO.

Definitely have this in mind for a next upgrade. Anyone know what the door panel light bulb is for an LED? I've took a good look but, to no avail. Something about an LED lit up car just fits these TL's.

I'll find it in a sec but lord Jesus, SO many have blown their fuse boxes changes these bulbs so if you find it and venture on your own, please disconnect the battery first. Then remember that you don't want to just take off that plastic cover and change the bulb from in there, you want to take out that entire metal (or silver plastic) housing that fits in the hole of the door. Behind it is a plug like any other light. If you do some searches on here you'll find a guide, but heed my warning on the fuse boxes! Many blew both of them!
