2012 FWD transmission fluid change

HI,
due to shitty TC and useless 16-030 software update, TC judder is getting obvious. (totally I did 4-5 times fluid change withing 40,000 miles.) plan to change the fluid every 10,000 miles myself.
I plan to change the fluid by myself. with the transmission fluid drain by gravity, how much fluid I should refill in?

Thanks

the car will only drain 3 quarts at a time....so, this means you fill it 3 quarts....
and the recommended amount of times you should do this is 3.

drain 3 quarts...fill 3 quarts..
drive 500 miles.
drain 3 quarts...fill 3 quarts...
drive 500 miles..
drain 3 quarts...fill 3 quarts...

if you followed along, you will need 9 quarts all together

Hi
Thanks for advising. I plan only to do one time drain and refill. cause I did the fluid change often before. the fluid looks very clean and red.
If I only do one time change, after refill, should I rev up engine a little bit for a while in gear N?

no. the clutch packs hold the fluid. you will need to cycle through all the gears by driving.
if you plan on only doing it one time, the car will only drain 3 quarts...so you will only need 3 quarts

Ok,
Thanks.
So after one time drain and refill, I just drive as usual.

I used 10 quarts when I did my 09 TL. I used 3 1/3 each time. I believe the 09-10 manual said 3.5 quarts for FWD. SH-AWD is different using 3 quarts for ATF fluid change.

After a drain my car takes approximately 4 quarts to get to the upper mark (as measured per the owner's and service manuals)

Would you happen to have a 2012 Service manual I could download?
