Rumbling noise from 0 to 10pm

My 2004 TSX developed a problem that sounds pretty serious to me. Any help is appreciated.

When the car starts moving from a dead stop it makes a low rumbling noise before it hits 10mph.

Above 10mph it sounds totally fine.
It does not matter if I turn the wheel or not.
It sounds like a low grinding or a motorcycle rumbling.
I believe the noise is coming from underneath the car but I am not sure.
When I put the car in drive, press the brakes and push the accelerator at the same time the car is still making the noise. The car is not moving at all, so it is not the brakes.
When I switch to manual first gear it still makes the noise.

What can it be? any more things I can try?

thanks for your help!

It could be a failing wheel bearing. Suggest elevating front, remove wheel hub cap, and turn wheel by hand while touching the axle nut/stub end. If you hear/feel the grinding/raspy sound you have confirmed a bad wheel bearing.

good luck

Thanks for your reply! If I hold the brake pedal down, press the accelerator and still hear the noise while the car is not moving then it's not wheel bearing, right?

Yes, a wheel bearing will not make noise while wheels are locked.

good luck

Have the car inspected. It could be a motor mount or a million other things.
