radio code help

Yesterday I changed the battery in my daughters 2005 TSX. I figured the radio code was somewhere in the car, no such luck. We bought the car used, and my local acura dealer has been less than helpful. Is there anyone on here that can get me the code if I supply the vin and s/n of the radio(no nav)? My next idea is the take the title of the car with me to the dealer and demanding they give me the code. I love Honda products(drive an aspec TL), but this experience has left a bad taste.

I am not 100% sure but I think only original selling dealer has the code. Go to the acura website- they probably have info on how to retrieve the code

checked out the acura website-they have instructions what to go-It is discussed in the F.A.Q (frequently asked questions) section
sometimes the code can be found on a sticker that is in the glove box.

This is a long shot. My dealer prints the radio code on every work order. Do you have any dealer maintenance records you could check?

Based on the number of times this problem pops up (on here anyway), I fully understand how this can be a frustrating and aggravating process. It does seem that Honda makes it more difficult than in should be. Anyone should be able to walk into any Honda or Acura dealer with a title or registration showing the VIN and ownership and be able to get the code for the OE radio.
