Meet my new 1996 3.2 TL

So recently I bought myself a 1996 Acura TL with the 3.2 V6 with 291k KMs, car has been actually been taking well care for. Sure there is a little rust in a the few typical places for 90s Hondas, but I'm in love with this car and hoping to keep it for quite a few years if I can.
Needs a little TLC, but hey for 1400 bucks I'm not complaining!

Congrats on the purchase! Still to this day, seven years after parting with my first gen, I look for clean ones in my area for a reasonable price. Sadly the few that are clean are over priced and the cheap ones are in poor shape. You seem to have found a relatively clean one for a good price.

Yeah its in pretty good shape, of course I need to put a new muffler on it, which is no biggie. However I am probably going to see about getting the rust looked at later down the line and getting the paint touched up as well.
Another plan is to replace the rims with the the second gen type S rims for my summer tires with the fat 5 spokes. Friend of mine showed me a picture of a first gen TL with it and they look nice, and use my old factory rims for winter tires.

The first gens also look good with the first gen TSX rims as well. You should check those out as well. There are photos posted somewhere here on these forums.

Sad to say that I had to get rid of my car, due to issues that were not really in my control.
So it sucks, I ended up losing out in the money I bought for the car, it sucks but I'm back to square one.
Gonna try saving up for a 2000 to 2004 RL instead.
