is this more amps than stock? every once and a while my headlights blink and i was wondering if a better alternator would fix this...

Hi McTwist,
this alternator is pretty much exactly the same one you have in your car right now. The rated output of a new 2.5 TL denso alternator is 100 ampere output at 13.5V's. It's probably more beneficial if you found some aftermarket alternator rated 150+ amps. We're pretty much in the same boat, during idle my lights dim when the a/c clutch turns on and off. Gets annoying. Let me know if you find an aftermarket alternator for our cars.:p

Ohio Generator will get you a 200 amp one for $400. www.mralternator.com will also do them but I dont remember how much. I once found a place that would do it for cheap but I don't remember the phone number. Maybe if you search through some of my posts you'll find it.
