Car Won't start 2.5 TL 1998
Hi,
I recently replaced VSS which was causing the speedometer being at zero and funny transmission fluctuations. However during the VSS issue, I also had a issue where the car would stall without reason and not start. Once it happened at gas station where I was filling gas and it wont start. I called AAA service and they told me battery was good. I have observed that once I take car for long ride from say Point A to Point B, and restart the car from Point B within short interval it wont start. However if I give a half an hour gap it starts. What could be the issue here? Heat related?
When I turn the key to start position, the fan and audio starts but engine does not start, this tells me battery is good. I do not hear clicking noise ( I replace original starter with after market 6 months ago). I had check engine sign with code for EGR subsystem, I thought it was frequency solenoid valve, I got a part from "Quality Resale" online however they gave a wrong part, so my mechanic put back the original buggy solenoid (it used to make a buzzing noise). I have been driving my car after replacing VSS for 3 days in which it stalled 3 times and every time starts after I let it cool. I do not see any check engine sign.
I have 1998 2.5TL Acura.

Fixed the issues so far. The mechanic replaced the buggy VSS with after market used VSS. The starter he had installed was bad, so he replaced it free of cost. He cleaned all the vacuums related to EGR valve/solenoid setup. The " Insufficient EGR lift " code is not coming any more. Now the gear shifting from first to second does not have the pronounced jerk. Still the while going from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th the rpm indicator reaches 3000rpm and then drops while changing gear
