RL Manual Conversion Done!

I've been thinking about finding a Manual legend parts car and attempting this for quite some time- and making a thread about it. Initially i thought i would the first to do it until i came upon this...

I saw this a few weeks ago, it is actually what inspired me to keep my RL after insurance totalled it. One of my few complaints is i wish my RL was a little faster, this seemed like a pretty cool solution. his idea to trick the transmission by shifting into "1" was somethig i had wondered about, as i dont want to lose VSA in my car.

WOW. I thought about doing this back in 2008, but I was thinking I had to get a standalone ecu and do a ton of magic to get it to work. Nice to see somebody has done it! Maybe i'll look into it if the tranny takes a dump. Great find!!

I would love to get this done, but I'm afraid is going to cost a fortune. A manual RL mus be hella fun

I really dont think that it should be that big of a headache-other than making that shifter sit a little better and maybe using a resistor instead of the wire method to trick the car that its always in D1
