'04 RL Fuel/Ignition Problem. Need Help!

My '04 RL has 122,000 miles and has been well serviced. A few weeks ago I came out of a store and it started for a moment, sputtered, then quit running. It would crank just fine but wouldn't start. After about 15 minutes of trying it finally started. Once I got rolling I realized that it would loose acceleration power beyond half throttle. It would idle fine and seemed to run normally at less than half throttle but noses over just past half throttle. In the weeks to follow it has continued to exhibit the power loss and has failed to start on three additional occasions but has always restarted after about 15 minutes of trying. All hot restarts.

Prior to these issues, my local Acura dealer replaced the spark plugs, and programmed a new master key and remote (lost them). The Acura dealer could not diagnose the problem so before I take it to another shop I thought maybe someone might have a good suggestion or idea of what may have gone south on my RL. Any help would be much appreciated.

Did it throw a CEL? Sounds like a weak fuel pump but usually they just die and never come back to life.
The main EFI relay is a common problem in hot weather. I just had to replace mine.
Put a scan tool on it and see if there are any pending codes.
