Hello everyone, my name is Chase. I just bought a 2010 RDX FWD for the wife last night. It has 99k miles on it.

Just signed up here, love forums, I am an addict. I am also a pretty good shade tree mechanic and do all our maintenance myself. We traded in my wifes '06 Pilot on the RDX, it had 239k miles on it, never set tire in a shop, we bought it new.

I drive a '99 c230k mercedes right now....189k miles.

The RDX seems ok to me, slight rough idle I have been reading about here, nothing serious. The TSB for the AC clutch relay concerns me. The AC is super cold and works fine, but I noticed some black grease on the freon cap on the AC line in an otherwise immaculate engine bay last night. Then I get on here and read about the TSB and wonder if they topped off the freon before selling the car.

I will be investigating tonight when I get home.

Welcome and congrats on your RDX. If you have an A/C issue, you want to acquiesce and bring it to the dealer. Acura has issued a warranty extension to 7 years for some of the A/C issues you have been reading about. Good luck!

Yeah it looks like the TSB covers my car to 100k and we have 99,300 miles on it lol. So it will be getting checked this weekend.

I ended up having the TSB A/C issue on my 08 RDX with 96,XXX on Odo in 2013. I've been riding ice cold since the repair. It has just been routine maint, driver side sun visor, torn center arm rest, bad alternator, or driver door actuator since. Way cheaper than a car payment.
