Hi guys a big thanks for welcoming me to the forums. This site is awesome. Just purchased my 3.0 CL with 235,000 miles on the original transmission according to the previous owner.

It counts if your on the original powertrain and no rebuilds. I would venture to guess yes! In the TL forum theres a guy that has 700+k miles on his TL but its had over 5 transmissions over the years. Now hes got a J35 with 6mt installed in it.

My cars:
99 taffeta white 2.3 CL mt. 255k original miles.
97 black 3.0 CL auto. 211k miles with one trans rebuild done by myself.

havent posted in a while but
sold my 97 3.0 in DEC with 277k and original engine trans was still going strong after i ran a 150 shot on it

got a 01 now with 183k

99 Acura CL 3.0 bought w/44k, now have 194k

Run only Amsoil since 44k
Transmission rebuilt @ 105k
New KYB's & FaLKeN Pt722 tires @ 155k
Transmission fluid switched to Amsoil @ 180k
Still rides shhmoov ...

I am a new Acura owner. Seems like the Acura CL has been a fairly reliable vehicle. I purchased a 1998 Acura CL 3.0 Premium with 122,000 miles on it in November 2017.

I'm happy to see your automatic lasted that long. Or have you had rebuilds? My 99 3.0 CL auto sounds and feels like the trans could go at any time. So I'm thinking of a trans flush. Wish I could see the future.
