but instead of saying "thread" it should say shirt. I think people would buy that, I probably wouldn't though. Anyone feel free to steal my shirt idea and make millions if you want. "you know that guy who invented the pet rock he made a million dollars from that"
P.S. I'm so bored I just quoted myself from two minutes ago

Had a rental car for a week and then bought my new whip. So yeah, I haven't had time to rip apart my car, you need the car to rip it apart. So I have good news and bad news, the good news is I got pics, the bad news is my girl has my digi cam and is at work, so I took em with my cell phone, they're behind the evaporator, to the right at least on my 3.0. Here's the pics I took, sorry for the quality.

That grey filter you see behind the grate in the first pic is actualy the door that cuts off the outside air when you turn on the recirculate option which looks like it is turned off in your picture which means the door is open. Below that grate is this "thing" (for lack of a better word) that spins around and I'm assuming that's what makes the wind. Also getting behind that grate is very difficult I couldn't access the bolts holding it in place with a socket wrench, or a regular wrench. Which leads me to beleive it's not there because if this was something that needed to be changed every year, it shouldn't be almost impossible to access. I'm not giving up yet I'll let some others try until I give up, maybe someone will be better than me at it and can figure this out.
just cuz u gotta change it, doesnt mean they didnt make it impossible. just look at the 2.x fuel filter

Holy shit, I never knew there was a cabin air filter..
My chassis has like ~180000 miles on it, should I change the cabin air filter too?
zhouz: I know what you mean with the fuel filter. I haven't changed it (need crow's feet) and the new filter has been sitting for maybe a year now..

Back in the Acura-CL.com days there was a thread that I can't find for the life of me that showed how to replace it, that's the only reason I even knew we have a cabin filter. I plan to do mine this week, that's why I bought the filters. I will def take tons of pics now that I have my camera back

any auto parts store should have them, since they should be the ones for the 6th gen accord (probably 7th too), 2nd gen cl, the TL 2nd and 3rd and I believe the TSX.

OH GOD!!! Why'd you bring this thread back from the dead!! There's no servicable air filter down there, trust me I've looked!! blacks got the air filters that fit the accord but they don't fit our car. The accord air filters are easy to change, ours are not even close!! I'm not gonna do exploratory surgery on my car to try and find them either. If black wants to do that he's more than welcome to but I woudn't be suprised that when or if he finds the filters that the ones he has doesn't fit.

that shit don't exist! I had to come reread this after you said you bumped it
Still can't believe I trusted blackack and bought an Accord cabin filter because he said it had one. I finally threw it away a couple years ago during a move, I had always hoped that he'd come through with proof, but alas.
