Yes. Just came off the truck and only had 280 some miles on it.

Love the 2 piece style rotors on the fronts!

That rust looks YUCK! Acura couldn't spend the extra $100 and add the 1Kg of paint to the car?

Also I'm surprised there is no "carpeting" like there was in the 3G TL wheel wells to reduce noise.

And not aluminium for suspension arms.. It would have been lighter.
Even Chrysler 200 has the lower arms in aluminium..

You should photoshop those photos, or edit them however you can to lighten up the darker areas that I'd imagine most folks are interested in seeing. The flash or reflection off the rotors is hella bright up front.

Either way, this is kind of a cool idea. Good job!

For a DD vehicle, personally, I'd prefer not to have aluminum arms. Although they will look good for years to come, with the roads around here and any colder winter climate for that matter, I'd take the strength of the steel over aluminum. Pot hole season is a bitch here.

Also, it's a give and take scenario. Although the 200 may have more expensive aluminum arms, it could be cheaping out in other departments. Who knows. Price point dictates all on cars... Unless you're spending 150k +.

What size wheel is that? Disc looks awful small compared to it.

My 760 needs new arms almost every 30K because of how soft the arm and bushing is. I rather take a painted iron part than a lighter one that'll bend and cost $400+ to replace!

I see they are still not using stainless steel lines (unless I am missing something). Also I thought the rear diff was smaller than my TL, but this looks substantial!

Thanks for the pics!

Wow, I expected different. The underside of my 2005 RL with SH-AWD looks way different. Lots of aluminum and of course the carbon fiber driveshaft (which I hope never needs replacement as it's hella expensive!

What the H are those badly rusted suspension arms? Why?

For a 40K+ car that is not acceptable, cmon Acura!

I believe the wire is to the electronic parking brake that you are referring to.

I do not have a TL to compare to and it may just be the angle that I took the picture. I can't remember the rear diff on my 2007 RL, which I'd assume been close to the TL.

Oh, I see the rust now. That's a cast iron piece. Looks bad but it's fine. Think of it as a "protective coating" You want to feel bad about a car, look at my car, I've felt bad about it the whole time I've owned it. Let me see if I can dig up the old thread.....

Here it is:

I SO WISH could have your rusty control arms. Probably going to have to buy an Accord next year. Anybody want to buy my DVD-AUDIO's ??
