Shopping For AWD TLX In The Sunbelt
I'm especially interested in AWD TLX, as though I live in Southern California now my circumstances may change prompting a move to the Northern U.S. Also some of the high elevation areas I have to go through do get snow here. But what's difficult to find is an AWD TLX on the dealer lots, from a survey of the local dealer websites. One dealer said I would have to factory order it, which takes 3 months. Is this my best bet? With typical factory order, how much discount - if any - would I be able to get?
Other option is to buy it in the Northern part of the country off a dealer where my family lives and drive it over or have it privately transported (an added $1000 expense at least), but there are various hassles to bringing outside vehicles even new ones to California. Advice/options? I should point out I don't need car right away, but will need it no later than Feb 2017.

What part of SoCal do you live? There are 69 TLX's with AWD within a 50 mile radius of San Gabriel according to cars.com

There are about 30 at the four dealers closest to me (Rancho Cucamonga).
