I figured with all of the tech in this car and the unusual front LEDs, I figured I better lease in case things "go south". At the time, I did not hear about the transmission issues. I never saw this much of an issue with my TSXs, but I can hold onto my leased TLX for now. I also drive nearly 20,000 miles a year so a lease sounded good since I usually am back to my dealer every 3 to 4 years. I will see what happens in 2018.

Purchased. I'll just drive it till it starts giving me too many issues. Hopefully that'll be in another 200,000 miles or so.

I always purchase my cars, but my dealer suggested I lease to take advantage of the $1,000 gift card. After I make two $500 payments I'll pay off the balance.

I did the same - it was a no brainer to take the extra $1,000 off with the Acura Advantage program!

The advantage program goes for purchase as well, your dealer telling you only for lease is wrong. Accurately speaking the AA program on a purchase gives you up to 1000 back plus 500 in accessories and better %. It is all based on your monthly payment, so 600/m still only gets you 1000 since 600x2 is 1200 is over just like 450/m gets you 900 not 1000.

I am still waiting on me debit cards though.
