Every Acura should look like a cousin of the NSX.

Welcome OP!

I see Mazda in the front, a hint of BMW in the back. It's Acura in the middle.

You are an artist and an enthusiast! Nice work.

That actually does sound like an Infiniti. The Q50 looks like a Mazda.

Reminds me a little bit like the Temple of VTEC TLX and ILX concepts that were inspired by the NSX:

agreed, each model should have tiny bits of the NSX injected into it

it's working very well for Mercedes Bens!!
I LOVE THEIR CURRENT OFFERINGS!!!
from the CLS to the S-class..
then you get the baby S-classes with the E and C models.

I'll try to whip something up with a more NSX like front! If you can kind of tell. I like the new Civics front end so you can see a little flow of that on the grill. Perhaps some more sharper headlight like the NSX would set it off from looking so Infinity like?

Looks like a 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-dr, isn't it? Yes of course.

TLX:

I think if Acura made a TLX that looked like this they wouldn't be able to sell an ILX or RLX but would probably double their sales of the TLX. Unfortunately, I'm guessing the MMC will be a turd sandwich with a slightly more fancy mustard on it.

Uh, Yes, very much the same concept. Audi A5/A7, Mercedes CLS and BMW 4/6-series Gran Coupe didn't invent anything, styling-wise (lift-back aside), really.

Because Pontiac did it first? Okay pal.

Back on topic (before 95% stupid added his nonsense): I think the problem is if Acura is going to make an update, they need to go ahead and do it. They should start with the RLX and just fully redesign the thing.

I am not saying that it looks bad and I actually liked that GP at that time, The parallel with the sketch above remains.

That isn't a 1988 Grand Prix, you're about 10 years off. There wasn't even a 1988 Grand Prix 4-door to begin with.

The reason so many of us moved away from Acura is because of their slide in quality and vanilla cars in the current lineup. That rendition looks nice, OP. Wish it were real.

There was a 1990 Grand Prix 4-door but that was not the one I had in my mind, so a *1997 Grand Prix sedan, that is*. It was a good looking car.
