My 24 hours with a TLX loaner

HOLY CRAP THAT TSX IS SLOW AS HELL!!!! Thanks for posting that pic man, really proved our point of how the TLX is a huge upgrade on the TSX.
oh wait... your point was that the TSX if given SHAWD would be "at the top of the world".... LMAO
man I actually liked the TSX, but you're a fool.

Its unique car in $30k range without push button start or DI engine.
I am 100% confident if the Euro Accord style and updates combined with SH-AWD were introduced in US market. It would have been big seller. .

BARCELONA -- Honda will end sales of the Accord midsize sedan (TSX) in Europe.
You have an 8 year old HONDA not an 8 year old Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera & are trying to put down brand new TLX's? Give me a very big break. Reads like you have a terminal case of new car envy.

People didn't want to pay 30k for a euro accord, but sure, add SH-AWD and I'm sure they will totally pay 35k for the same car they had no interest in. Especially AWD in Europe. Cities so close and much more mild climate than Canada

You forgot to add "despite the fact they could not sell the Euro-Accord (TSX) to the Europeans". HONDA bailed out on the car over a year ago.

Honda Accord Review | Auto Express
cross the Honda Accord range, stop/start technology isn't available on any model, and both petrol versions offer poor fuel consumption at 40.9 mpg and 38.7mpg on their respective combined cycles. Their emissions are also high with 159/km for the 2.0-litre engine (this increases to 168g/km when it comes with the five-speed automatic gearbox), and 199g/km for the 2.4-litre. In automatic guise, the 2.4-litre model’s emissions drop slightly to 195g/km.
The 148bhp 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel engine is our pick of the Honda Accord range. It's impressively refined, smooth and manages 53.3mpg (46.3mpg for the automatic) on its combined cycle, plus 138g/km of CO2 (159g/km for the auto).

Refinement levels are exceptional for this class of car, with wind, road and engine noise kept to a bare minimum.

Still trying soooo hard to defend your silly position? You've been utterly ridiculed over and over, yet you come back for more.

Last week my TL's check engine light came on, so since I still have the extended warranty I took it to the dealer. Plus I've had an issue with the heater at times not putting out heat on the passenger side, just the driver's side, so decided to let them fix that also. This time I got a V6 Tech for a loaner. Had it for 2 days.
Most of my observations from my first V6 loaner still apply, but:
This time I set the IDS to Sport for the entire time I had it. Seems somewhat more responsive, but I still don't like that, when starting from a stop and then momentarily having to back off the gas, there's a small delay when trying to accelerate again. I guess because the tranny had already upshifted a couple of gears when I had to back off the gas. My TL, having only 5 speeds, doesn't have that issue. 9 speeds may help fuel economy, but causes downshifting delays in the same situations where my TL would downshift pretty much instantaneously. I realize this may not bother some drivers, but it bothered me. I didn't have a situation where I was on the freeway with the car presumably in 9th gear and requiring a 9-4 downshift so I can't comment on that. Overall, though, the powertrain worked well, and the car is definitely faster than my TL.
I wish the seat bottom was more "sculpted" than it is. The seatback area between the side bolsters is actually a little narrower than my TL, which I liked because I'm on the thinner side so the seatback "hugged" me better. But I felt like I was sitting ON the seat cushion, rather than IN the seat like my TL.
Once again, I was impressed with how quiet the car is inside, and that the turning radius is smaller than my TL.
BTW, the check engine light was for bank 1 sensor 1, and the climate control system needed the driver side blend door motor replaced. Both repairs covered by the extended warranty, which paid about $750 for the work, plus $60 for the loaner for 2 days. Zero cost to me.

I liked the icon that lights up to tell you there's a car in your blind spot. But I found the warning when signaling for a lane change to be too sensitive, meaning it complains even when I know I have enough room for the lane change. Can the sensitivity on the blind spot monitoring be adjusted? Same question about the "Brake" message - I found that annoying. Can the "Brake" message be either adjusted for sensitivity, or turned off?
