My 24 hours with a TLX loaner
#41
The TSX looks to be in terrific condition but the exterior shots are of a white car and the interior shot is of a gray car.
We all know that the JDM and Euro Honda Accord was sold here as an Acura TSX.
Does that mean that our TLX is the same as a Honda Accord in Japan and Europe?

Sorry but I dont think anyone is following your thought process. Mostly, and with no actual facts, you are drawing conclusions and taking things too personally. I am entitled to my opinion as a TSX and now TLX owner.
Hopefully in a few years the TLX will meet your standards.

My biggest complaints with Acura in general are infotainment, attention to detail, body style, color blindness, continued poor city MPG and their inability to write software. Much of this persists in even their current models.
That said, and to be balanced, I love the Acura/TLX 8speed engine, RELIABILITY!, Low cost of ownership, the handling, the comfort, better driver seat alignment, LED headlights, LEDs inside, better leather, 3d navigation and sound system.
I consistently get 22-25 MPG in the city with my SH-AWD model. I consider that very good. I was getting 15 MPG until the engine broke in and I did my first oil change.

Yes, a brand new V6 TLX is the same price as a 3 year old, used I4 TSX. Anyone who thinks the used TSX is worth the same price as a brand new TLX is a fucking retard. Looking at you, SSFTSX.

Don't hate, it's not worth the effort. Did you apply for a loan on a TLX and got turned down? Is that why you are so hell bent on putting the car down? You are embarrassing yourself. But hey, if you into that kind of thing, have at it.

And we can really say his TSX is just a dressed up Honda Accord

the same car with bi-xenon headlights.

Ok you're just posting random pictures now. lmao that clearly isn't even the interior of an Accord. Oops, I mean TSX.
btw- maybe you should take a photography class or something. You don't seem to have any good photos of The Superior TSX. The Beyonce of TSXs, if you will. Teyonce.

those are all phone pics. i presume the paint quality for Euro car is better as they have to pay extra for pearl or metallic paints. even though the Milano red is not metallic. backup sensors already integrated like Advance TLX model here.

Oh, yeah, stupid phones. Always make you a horrible photographer. smh. Don't they know that you were attempting to photograph Teyonce??

lol this guy is hilarious. i had a TSX as a loaner once. and it was the worst experience of my life. felt like i was driving a honda accord. def did not feel like an acura.

Needs a 930
As you can see, this ford raptor has backup sensors and camera so the TLX is clearly modeled after it
When I picked up my TLX the salesman was like "we have plenty of 4cylinders" when they didn't initially have what I wanted. I said "nah I bet it's slow like the TSX" and he gave me a terrible look haha

Honda spent fortune trying to hush highway noise of diesel Accord and left the petrol engine car without major updates. ADAS package is our Acurawatch plus. active cornering lights like RL. these are all old technologies. there is nothing new for Acura.

You're an idiot. And quit posting pictures of cars not available in north America. You're not helping your case.

there is poster who said TLX is upgrade in several ways from TSX.
only due to quality and reliability, highly ergonoimc interior TSX could compete against more expensive and powerfull cars.
its perfection like no other Acura vehcile designed and made before. The car didnot need any extensive MMC. Acura simply didnot introduce the Type S/GT or SH-AWD system. otherwise it will be at the top of the world.
whole weight is one side of the car.

oh wait... your point was that the TSX if given SHAWD would be "at the top of the world".... LMAO
man I actually liked the TSX, but you're a fool.

SSFTSX (which apparently stands for Super Special Fast TSX, in case anyone is wondering) can't even post a half decent photo of his car special needs are special in deed. what a tool.

just wait til he comes in and says that with super upgraded tires, it can do 0-60 in 1.2 seconds, with a top speed of 562mph

well, to be honest, it's not. But when you have the same guy trolling without end for so many years, eventually you get to the point where ignoring him just isn't enough, especially when he starts misleading newer members with his propaganda.
I'm not the first to give him such a response. And likely not the last either.

If you had upgraded tires on your TSX, it was likely way faster than that Shelby, because Honda's horsepower is much greater than Shelby/Ford's horsepower.
On paper, the TSX may seem to have less power, but in reality, it is way faster.

Cant we all just get along?
An opinion is like a butt, everyone has one.
I LOVE my TLX in every way. Sure the "material" isnt the best in some places but complaining about things like the C piller is made of plastic as mentioned is a FIRST WORLD PROBLEM.
In my opinion leather quality is the most important thing I care about the quality and some things are of course like styling and not too much plastic on the dash etc but I couldnt care less about the rear seat plastics and such cuz, well, it may sound weird but I sit in the driver's seat.
I personally love the interior of the 4th gen TL the best. The overall looks screams sporty with black interior and the silver accents. While I LOVE my TLX the dashboard is a bit boring.
And as far as rating Acuras, here is my opinion: I love the exterior styling of the TSX but the dash is a bit to much Accord in my opinion. I know I know the TLX dash looks similiar to the new Accord but oh well. I love the 4th gen TL better than 2nd gen TSX (dad has 09 TL brother 10 TSX). I cannot comment on 3rd gen TL since I have never driven one but I love the look! My recent car was a 2nd gen TL and I loved. No complaints.
These are MY PERSONAL OPINIONS

He's referring to another *intelligent* comment SSFTSX made in the past, how Honda has superior vent placement in all their cars... Because you know, all other manufacturers hire cavemen to design their car interiors
I'm sure you can see a trend emerging from our good buddy...

To reply to your post though, I do see the reflection, but I don't have a problem with it. It never obstructs the view of my side view mirror. I don't know if it's because I'm not focusing on it, or if the reflection is lessened by my tint. Maybe my opinion will change once it's summertime and the sun is shining bright.

One thing I miss about owning my TL was EG Acura's customer service. Granted, it's been 6 years since I've owned a Acura and I know some of the service advisors are gone. I was actually in there 4 months ago after driving a TLX talking to one of the advisors that still work there.

Ahhh makes sense. Elk Grove Acura is the only Acura dealership that I've been to that shows a charge for the loaner, although the charge has always been waived. I bought my TLX from them and plan on having it serviced there. It just sucks that they're so far from me since I live near Roseville, but the Niello service department has this arrogant attitude that I can't stand. I was going to buy my car from Niello until I found out that their sales manager's attitudes are even worse than their service advisors.
I'm the opposite of you. I'll take my Honda to Roseville to Autonation, but I will not let the assholes from EG Honda work on my car ever. Their salesmens think they know everything, and give that jackass response, especially when you correct them. I was waiting for my Corolla to be serviced and I told a salesmen just checking out the 9G's and he gave me this response and said those aren't 9th gens. I said actually 2013-2015 are considered 9th Gens. There was more to it but don't feel like typing it. Ever since my friend went to another dealer I will never get my car serviced from their...

The Accord in Japan is now the same as the North American Accord and they no longer sell Accords in the UK at all.
Why do you persist in posting pics of a car that is years out of date and insist that it's better than the TLX?
You really are a moron.

Do yourselves a favor and put SSFTSX on ignore.
Or don't. They're not my brain cells that are imploding in an attempt to decipher his posts.
Quoting his posts only results in more people getting exposure.
