some dealerships are freakin stupid. why would they sell you a TLX now at invoice?

Dealership near me is quoting $41040 (includes dest.) for V6 with tech.....not same as Acura configure site. Also seemed like a strange number.

How many miles on it?
You sure it was a Tech?
You sure it was a TLX?
lolol. jk. Wow. They must like you to be selling the car for that.

Everyone should post price BEFORE tax, title and license as it is different by state. If u include it, it is meaningless unless we live in the same state.

I just knew that the OTD price was close to $43,000 and I asked for $41,000 and they agreed

Just a guess.
What do I know.
What I *do* know is that they're still in the black with the dealer holdback if they sell it at "invoice" [sic].

Just got a quote from one of the dealerships I am talking to:
TLX Advance Package MSRP (Including Destination) - $43,395
Offer before tax tag, etc (Including Destination) - $42,645
They are also offering the $500 in accessories and I will be a new Acura owner.

If you already bought the car, you may (also) want to post the prices you paid in the new owner "sign-in" thread stickied at the top of the forum.

Finalized my Acura TLX Advance deal and ordered her today.
TLX Advance Package MSRP (Including Destination) - $43,395
Offer before tax tag, etc (Including Destination) - $42,145
Silver Slate Metallic with Ebony Interior
I am receiving $500 in accessories plus they are throwing the extra remote start keyfob for Driver #2 (no charge because they thought that was stupid it did not include it)

OK, since I am a returning Honda owner. Myself and our dealer had no idea we qualified for the up to $1000 off. They ran our VIN and we got our certificate. So we will get an extra ~$900 off or so. Not to shabby.

Here are your two options for 0 down the 4-cylinder TLX Tech:
27 months
$992 taxes and fees
$497.78+tax/mo.
36 months
$931 taxes and fees
$441.07+tax/mo.
If you are looking to lower the payment, every $1,000 typically lowers the payment by $30.

Acura TLX 2.4 Tech 9-2014
Bought 2.4+Tech $1000 off msrp, plus get AA program which is worth up to another $1000 plus $500 in free accessory, which puts the entire deal under invoice. The dealer I worked with I have been talking to since the early spring. I contacted multiple dealers no one was budging from msrp, so I am very happy with my deal, which I thought was already solid with the AA program. Cars are absolutely flying off the lot, I looked at a couple cars in the combo I wanted last week and they were gone already. Now just waiting on my ordered car, and trying to figure out if I want to get some aftermarket wheels.
BTW for those wondering on swapping out 3.5 wheels instead of 2.4 you are looking at about $2200G.... at that price might as well get aftermarket.

I received email quotes from two local dealers, both at MSRP. I responded to one, stating that I was not going to pay the sticker price. He responded that the price was an introductory price, and that Acura was going to raise prices soon. He also said that if I came in soon, he would see what he could do. No wonder folks tend to dislike car salesmen.

30 minutes later I ended the call with a lower payment than I had before they tried to raise them! Silly bastards!
My sales guy for the TLX I just bought gave me every BS car-sales-guy line in the business but for some reason I liked him so I stuck with him. I called him on every line too but he kept throwing them out there anyways!
