Dealership near me is quoting $41040 (includes dest.) for V6 with tech.....not same as Acura configure site. Also seemed like a strange number.

I am surprised that JE had some but Sterling McCall hasn't received any, that I know of. They keep telling me "Next week, at the earliest"

Thanks.

Everyone should post price BEFORE tax, title and license as it is different by state. If u include it, it is meaningless unless we live in the same state.

Sorry! Did not know much about tax stuff

I just knew that the OTD price was close to $43,000 and I asked for $41,000 and they agreed

They might be satisfied to make only the holdback, for a repeat customer who reviews the cars thoroughly and who says good things about the dealership.

Just a guess.

What do I know.

What I *do* know is that they're still in the black with the dealer holdback if they sell it at "invoice" [sic].

Just got a quote from one of the dealerships I am talking to:

TLX Advance Package MSRP (Including Destination) - $43,395
Offer before tax tag, etc (Including Destination) - $42,645

They are also offering the $500 in accessories and I will be a new Acura owner.

If you already bought the car, you may (also) want to post the prices you paid in the new owner "sign-in" thread stickied at the top of the forum.

There is also no mention of whether there was a trade or not. I agree that posting a simple total price doesn't tell us a whole lot. But I think the intent of the thread is good.

Are you a current Acura owner? I see you got the $500 off deal. Did you get the $1000 in payments deal, too? Otherwise, getting $1200 off MSRP already is pretty good.

True - although they have more room to give with the advance package.

OK, since I am a returning Honda owner. Myself and our dealer had no idea we qualified for the up to $1000 off. They ran our VIN and we got our certificate. So we will get an extra ~$900 off or so. Not to shabby.

Here are your two options for 0 down the 4-cylinder TLX Tech:

27 months
$992 taxes and fees
$497.78+tax/mo.

36 months
$931 taxes and fees
$441.07+tax/mo.

If you are looking to lower the payment, every $1,000 typically lowers the payment by $30.

I'm in the process of trying to wrap up a lease deal for a Bellanova White V6 with Tech in Maryland. Here are my details.

MSRP: $40,145
With Loyalty Discount: $39,195 (after $950 "loyalty" discount)
Money Factor: .00135
Residual: 0.61
Acquisition Fee: $595

Trade In (from ILX): $20,400 (also a lease with 28,000 miles and with 17 months left)
Payoff: $24,183.94

Cash Down: $3000 (basically what I thought I would owe for the rest of my lease becomes the new down payment)
Government Fees: $323
Taxes: $1,172.40
Document Fee: $295
Total Initial Payment: $5,541.66
Adjusted Residual: $24,488.45
Monthly Payment: $580.xx

Bought 2.4+Tech $1000 off msrp, plus get AA program which is worth up to another $1000 plus $500 in free accessory, which puts the entire deal under invoice. The dealer I worked with I have been talking to since the early spring. I contacted multiple dealers no one was budging from msrp, so I am very happy with my deal, which I thought was already solid with the AA program. Cars are absolutely flying off the lot, I looked at a couple cars in the combo I wanted last week and they were gone already. Now just waiting on my ordered car, and trying to figure out if I want to get some aftermarket wheels.

BTW for those wondering on swapping out 3.5 wheels instead of 2.4 you are looking at about $2200G.... at that price might as well get aftermarket.

I received email quotes from two local dealers, both at MSRP. I responded to one, stating that I was not going to pay the sticker price. He responded that the price was an introductory price, and that Acura was going to raise prices soon. He also said that if I came in soon, he would see what he could do. No wonder folks tend to dislike car salesmen.

My local dealer where I pre ordered from put a pic of the various trims and prices (MSRP) on Facebook with the subtitle "end of the month sale". I texted my sales guy asking what kind of sale is that...MSRP. He said that's the sale... They'll be more afterwards. I'll believe it when I see it lol

Haha - my cable company tried that line on me. I got a bill with my rates raised so I called to complain and they told me my old rate was an introductory rate (it wasn't - I *had* an introductory rate that was much lower that had expired a few years back) and they were simply charging me the proper amount. Ha.

30 minutes later I ended the call with a lower payment than I had before they tried to raise them! Silly bastards!

My sales guy for the TLX I just bought gave me every BS car-sales-guy line in the business but for some reason I liked him so I stuck with him. I called him on every line too but he kept throwing them out there anyways!
