i4 or V6 P-AWS (both tech) 2016?

What do you guys think between the two? I got a lease quote for 350/month 12k miles, and 5k down for the V6 without AWD Thoughts? I live in PA so it snows and I am worried about having a V6 without AWD. I feel the front might be slippin. I don't know much about cars though and I heard about the issues with the transmission. I do like the button shifter and the upgraded wheels though.

I had a 16 i4 last week when I took my wife's RDX in and then got a 16 v6 yesterday and both are smooth transmission wise. The i4 really moves but still night and day compared to the v6. I think it's going to come down to if you want the extra power or not.

When I drove both tech versions the only complaint I had was I missed the extras in my advance model. Good luck

Interesting. I got an offer of 350/month 5k down for a 36 month lease on the v6 tech. Thinking it over and shopping around.

The V6 Tech numbers don't seem competitive, can't speak for the i4, but that seems to be a bit better. The $5k down is to make the monthly payment look better (you honestly should put $0 down on leases, in case it is totaled/stolen, you essentially lose your down payment). With $0 down, the V6 Tech is closer to $488, not a good deal for a $40k car imo (assuming PA taxes aren't stupidly high).

Might be worth a trip down to a certain large dealership in Northern VA -- I was getting quotes closer to $420-ish for a V6 Tech with 6.35% usage tax on payments only ($0 down, first payment, tags/licensing/etc due at signing)

Thanks for the input.. I will try to get him to go down. God i hate this. He originally offered 462$ a month with 3k down... I did the edumnds thing with a different dealer and told him, so he matched that.

Have you compared the 2.4L ILX to the 2.4L TLX? You get the added bonus of adding Acura Watch for added safety. The ILX might have lower insurance cost, lighter+better mpgs, a little fast acceleration compared to 2.4L TLX, slightly smaller in size, sporty look with A-Spec package, and very similar styling. You have jump up to the TLX 3.5L Adv or wait until the +18 TLX MMC to get Acura Watch on lower trims.

I've thought about ILX but I drive a colbalt now and want a change up. AcuraWatch doesn't entice me much

I mean i'd love to have everything but i think tech is enough.

Just got a quote with the down payment dropped to 3k. so about 432/month for this car no down payment. I think this will work.

For what it's worth tires will make a bigger difference than the AWD in the snow.

Not a huge fan of Edmunds pricing - It does set a benchmark, but if you're going to internet sales, you can get a better deal yourself. If you want the sales person I always bother at Pohanka (VA) then feel free to shoot me a PM. I've heard Rosenthal has been giving some great deals lately as well - They seem to be a couple thousand cheaper than some local dealerships even. I think another guy on AZine even buys his cars from Pohanka and gets it flat bed towed to NY and still comes out ahead.

I just picked up a 2016 V6 AWD Advanced last week for $430/mo for 36mo w/ $2k down. Thought it was a great deal.

The 2.4 Tech with PAWS and snow tires will be just fine. Don't get me wrong, i had my 3.5 SH-AWD last winter and it was great, but rear wheel steer with snow tires comes close. If it's a choice between the 3.5 and the 2.4 techs (without AWD on the 3.5), I personally prefer the 2.4. Mated with the 8 speed, more than enough giddy-up, and will save you money. However, test drive, test drive, test drive, and your decision will become clear.
