Whenever I start the engine on my 2015 TLX (5 months old with 5300 mi), a green tint suddenly appears on both of the outside mirrors. If I turn the car off, the tint slowly disappears. I'm suspecting this activity is related to the mirrors' auto dimming feature. Does anyone have any ideas? I've attached a few pictures.

Might want to have your dealer take a look at it. Looks like a sensor is defective.

The US model has auto dimming? I believe my Canadian tlx does not have auto dimming.

In US only the advance package has it. It is supposed to dim at night, and NOT dim when your in reverse. Kinda neat. As far as the green tint Im not sure mine looks regular, and yours might be normal you just think it has a tint. Ask your dealer.

It's only available on the Elite trim level in Canada.

This happens to my Advance model when I use the remote starter on a cold start, but disappears by the time I actually get in the car, which is usually a few minutes.

Mine gives off a slight tint when starting up then fades almost immediately. Nothing like this though. Seems like it could be dangerous

Your sensor seems to be a bit off if it's doing that at start. I'd go get it checked out at the dealer.

It is part of the auto-dimming feature though. Your rearview mirror does the same.
