Fog Light Film Covers?
Has anyone used Lamin-X or other film covers for their TLX fog lights? With the TLX fog lights being LED white lights, it doesn't really seem to work well in the fog. Not that I really need it for fog, but was thinking about covering in yellow to see how it looks on the TLX.
If anyone has done this I'd appreciate any pics. Thanks!

I had Lamin_X foglight covers on my former car - 2008 Accord.
It had halogen foglights and the Lamin-X covers developed burnt spots in the center.
Probably LEDs wouldn't melt or burn them.
One caveat: They cut them smaller than the lens.

I used Lamin-X yellow when I was installing my fog lights today. Turned out pretty well.
Here's some pics in day time with lights off/on and night with lights on.

Not a fan of yellow fogs, but to each their own. Good personal touch though

I have had them on for about a year now, and the light output is surprisingly yellow compared to cars I have had with clear halogen bulbs, and the same yellow film. In fact, on my Audi, and TSX, I went to yellow bulbs which gave/give me the same color output as the TLX. I am assuming the color temp of the LEDs has something to do with it vs the halogens.
The big upside is that the LEDs run so cool, that the film looks as good as new still, and hasn't hazed, or browned at all as it did on my TSX in only a few months.

Yeah, I definitely like the simply enhancement. Not is it only for looks, but really for functionality. Live close to the water and does get foggy from time to time and wanted to actually have a functional fog lights.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd figured that LEDs wouldn't burn it. I didn't buy the precut, I bought a sheet and covered the lens prior to installing the fog lights. I'd thought that would be easier.

The install took about 3hrs total, but it wasn't difficult. The only thing that was difficult was taking off/on the bumper myself. Just have to be extremely careful not to scratch it. I think the MSRP for the fog light kit is like $499?... I forget how much I paid tho...
