Hi guys,
For all the folks from southern cali that bought the TLX, do you guys have to finance thru Acura in order to get their rebate? The reason I'm asking because when I bought my car, all of socal dealers told me that I have to finance thru Acura in order to get the rebate, which is 750 for financing thru Acura and another 500 if I own a Honda or Acura. They told me I have to stay with their loan at least 4 months before I can refi. Is this true? I want to refi thru my bank, not much different in interest rate, but it does help overall. I don't see any penalties charges mentioned in the finance document. I did called Acura financial dept and they said I can refi anytime I want, but that's not what the dealership finance dept told me. I'm lost =\

Read the fine print. Did you already get the 'rebate', it could just be a dealership rebate. If it's already off the price. Then you can refi

I scanned thru that document many times to make sure. I already got the rebate. They included that as part of the down payment. The document showed the rebate is paid by AHM.
