Clean light colored headliner. Recommendations?

When pulling down the sun visor, it looks like someone got something reddish (ketchup, lipstick?) in color on the headliner. It's a small but noticeable stain.

Any recommendations on the best way to clean without making it worse or causing damage? Plain water? Woolite and water?

Just tried a clean white towel with water and a drop of Palmolive dishwashing liquid. Seems to have done the job. I'll see when it dries if it leaves any residue or messes with the color.

You can use carpet cleaner on it. It will not mess anything up. I've used Folex carpet cleaner from Home Depot and have never had any issues on my cars over the years
