How do you change Wiper Switch

I didn't see a forum on how to replace out the wiper switch.

My wiper goes crazy sometimes, and wipers again even though it's on the off setting.

I ordered a new wiper switch for $20, but now wondering how to replace it.

Thanks~

Talking about replacing the entire stalk I assume...I did this on my last car and I bet the procedure is similar on many cases. Most likely will involve pulling part or all of the steering column cover. Disconnect battery (move driver's seat as far back as possible first) to be safe and look under the column for screws that hold the cover in place. Remove those and the cover should hopefully be easily removed. On my car the stalk was held in place by a couple more screws and a small plug harness. Wasn't hard to swap out at all. Really the most difficult part was contorting my body in front of the driver's seat between the wheel and floor to get the angle I needed.

Thank you for the information~

Wondering if this youtube video is a good guide also? I know it is a bit long, but seems thorough.

Similar to most Acura cars I'm assuming?

Thanks again~

Its not the switch. The problem lies with the wiper motor cover. There is a TSB out there. I had the same problem with my RDX and it was repaired under warranty via TSB

My vehicle was bought in 2008, so I don't think it would still be covered under warranty, would it? I'm not sure how how to go about the TSB warranty...

With the Tsb 07053, do I contact the local Acura dealership and have it repaired? Is it for free then?

First time doing this~

thanks~
