Change Fog Lights

I want to change my fog lights to more match my HID's --- not BLUE, but just whiter.

I read the manual on how to change, but my big hands would not fit, any suggestions?

Thanks!

take out the tire well bottom two screws near the front, then you can pull up the fender/bumper and squeeze a hand in...usualy will work.

did you get the HOEN xenon match's? that is what i have, there great!

I also picked up HID lights for my fogs from hidny.com. They had quick shipping (2 days) and the install only took maybe 45 minutes. I love the look of yellow HID fog lights.

Did you just buy their standard H11 kit? That is a killer price for HID's. I'm used to seeing prices double or triple that.

I actually picked up the 1.5cm slim kit. It's about half the size of a quarter and can be attached anywhere since it's so small and light. I would show some pics but need to figure out how to attach pics to my reply.

So those are the
HID-101S HID XENON 1.5 cm THICK SLIM BALLAST CONVERSION KIT

in 3000K yellow? Looks bad ass.

I wonder if their 9005 replacement will work well for the high beams assuming you work around the voltage drop for the DRL's.

I know I'm digging up an old thread, but I figure it's still relevant. I ended up getting the Hoen Xenonmatch as well. You can get them from here http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm

Also, to change the bulbs, remove 2 screws in the fenderwell and pull the plastic liner back. One screw is at the bottom of wheelwell, facing the ground, the other is just inside the fenderwell, and can be easily reached if you turn your wheels the opposite direction. Unscrew, bend the plastic back, locate the foglight and plug, unplug the plug, unscrew the bulb (counterclockwise) and remove. Reverse order for installation.

Here's pics from my bberry. Although they look blue-ish, they are a touch whiter than the HID's, but much better than the yellowish stocks.

Question

Can't get my HiD's lights for the fogs (also from hidny.com) to work.
Very odd as everything seems to be correctly connected, fuse is good, lights are on and I still get a lighted fog light ICON in the instrument cluster.

Any ideas?

^Problem solved, (thanks bluecarbonfiber).

Supplied connector was too short. Used the "other" connector to jump between the two.

^Plugged and played.

Over-all the Fogs were the best bang for the buck.

I had forgotten how much I hate the nanny systems that do not permit the independent operation of the fogs, nor the use of fogs and brights at the same time.

I mean C'mon, how will I blind the neighbors that live at the bottom of the hill below my house, in this shitty little "pocket of poverty" where I live?

My Hoen fogs are in the mail truck as we speak, they're showing out for delivery! Have any of you replaced your DRL/high beam with Hoen bulbs? I wanted to see how the fogs look in person before buying anything else, but I'm interested in any of your opinions or input. Thanks!
