Can you honestly say you don't look at porn?

I'm not talking about in the past. I am also not talking about unintended or incidental exposure. Right now, can you honestly say that you do not ever look at porn?

(Ladies are welcome to vote too.)

But it is getting very difficult to find stuff that I consider worth watching.

It would be an incredibly dishonest and unbelievable statement if I were to make it.

I had a feeling there would be a handful of guys here capable of voting yes, and you fell into that group. I'm interested to see if any of my other suspects will show up and vote.

I don't see no as an option so I voted Whiskers. But Whiskers obviously = no. So obviously everyone still looks at porn.

I figured Whiskers was the equivalent of "no contest". Does anyone ever plead guilty to a speeding ticket?

I always just though Whiskers = porn. And yes, I would plead guilty to a speeding ticket. If a cop got me speeding, and I really was, I'm not going to deny it.

The only people I personally know who refuse to admit to watching porn only do so because they think admitting to it = admitting to beating off to it. They think it's a trap the other person is setting.

No contest means you aren't going to contest it. You don't deny; you don't accept. You simply don't contest.

So they don't actually fap to it, or they just lie about both?

Well they won't admit to watching porn because they think admitting to watching means you must j/o to it as well. So I guess they're just hiding the truth about both.

This is a bit old school, but I feel it is appropriate for today's world if you replace "masturbation" with "watching porn".

And this harem, once admitted, works against his ever getting out and really uniting with a real woman. For the harem is: always accessible, always subservient, calls for no sacrifices or adjustments, and can be endowed with erotic and psychological attractions which no real woman can rival. Among those shadowy brides he is: always adored, always the perfect love, no demand is made on his unselfishness, no mortification ever imposed on his vanity. In the end, they become merely the medium through which he increasingly adores himself.

Thanks for the link, XLR8R.

Figured it was time to vote "yes". The last porn I looked at was Jennifer Lawrence's leaked photos when the fappening happened Sept. 2, 2014.

As I went down the rabbit hole of links XLR8R's post provided last year, I ended up on a forum called NoFap. It's essentially a forum designed for the support of those looking to cut porn and the harm is has caused them out of their lives. I didn't feel the need to join, and I never actually went back to that site. However, it was very relieving to find so many people being honest about their issues and supporting each other in overcoming them.

If there is anyone reading this who wants to give up porn or even has someone close to them urging them to do so but is struggling, I suggest giving it another try. Take a look at NoFap for some good information and ideas about how to help yourself. Accountability groups can be found in person or online. You might be pleasantly surprised at the person you can be.

^ For those of you seemingly addicted to porn (try giving it up, see what kind of withdrawal you have ) I would definitely recommend it. It does re-wire your brain so you can be more outgoing and friendly towards the opposite sex... if that's your ailment.

I think that was the biggest thing I discovered in the beginning. When I didn't have an easy outlet, I was motivated to try harder to make my wife want to be closer to me, and I saw improvements.

Reading some of the posts on NoFap, I looked back on my college days and realized there was a significant amount of time spent alone in my room with my door locked like a hermit while a pretty awesome environment for a 20 year old was happening right outside. I don't have regrets for how I lived because I wouldn't trade where I am now for anything. However, if there is anyone out there having trouble finding a girlfriend or getting on the social scene but can find plenty of time to spend in front of their computer pleasing themselves, they should consider what better ways they could be spending their time that could reward them with long term fulfillment.

Well, sheeeeiiiiiit. I can say the same thing about my time in college. So can my (then) roommates. We were always locked in the room, music turned up, eyes glazed over, cranking it* out time and time again while the rest of the campus, the "normals" if you will, were partying and having a good time.

It's called Engineering.

I could replace "jerkin it" with "studying" in that CS Lewis quote to the same result.

Everything in moderation though I suppose.

But I'm a chronic Engineer'r so maybe I'm biased.

Maybe I don't understand.. I know plenty of dudes who flog it that seem to be well-adjusted. In some cases, it's probably the only thing that keeps them level.

I'm guessing you mean objectifying women as cum dumpsters begging for dudes to bukkakkkee them? That sounds unhealthy.. and dangerous.

Classic case of the Mizouse.
Is it really an illness that makes someone suffer physical withdrawals? Is it the porn or the fapping? Like.. go no porn, but still fap and you're friendlier..

Bruh.. I read a study several years ago linking fapping to divorce. It was teh loss of intimacy plus the husband's somewhat skewed / perverted views on intimacy caused by habitual porn watching that killed the chemistry.
