few pics from the other day.

started off the day with a triple egg-over-easy sandwich with muenster/cheddar cheese and slices of cajun turkey in between honey wheat flat bread.

later that night i did a panko crusted tilapia with various seasonings and spinach leaves topped with shredded parm

This thread doesn't see a lot of action, so figured I would try and contribute when I cook stuff. I made steak burgers, seasoned with montreal steak seasoning, and topped with thin sliced cheddar, farm fresh tomato, red onion, pickle ovals, ketchup and grey poupon, served on fresh deli rolls

Looks good, except for the ketchup, I hate that it is used on hotdogs and burgers. Especially a steak burger.

I'm old fashioned, I like ketchup and mustard on burgers. I never got the whole mayo on a burger thing... I did debate on using some really awesome steak sauce that I brought home from canada on them, but decided to do ketchup and mustard instead. What can I say, I live in Heinz land I drive past their plant every day, and even applied to their corporate office a few years back which is right down the street from where I work now

Looks good.

I don't like ketchup or mustard either. I rarely use sauce with food, except for hot sauce on wings.

Oh, forgot to mention, I ground up a little bit of sea salt onto the farm fresh tomatoes to flavor them up a bit, man did that kick up the flavor

didn't have anything to eat last night, was real hungry, cabinets were sparce...so i improvised.

1 fresh pineapple
maple syrup
cinnamon/sugar mix
butter
frosted flakes

get a non stick frying pan, turn on medium heat and add 2-3 tbs of butter, a squirt of maple syrup, and cinnamon sugar. let it do its thing and form a nice base for 3 minutes or so until the pan is hot. slice your pineapple into small cubes and put in mixing bowl. sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar on pineapple and mix in crunched up frosted flakes and coat as desired. throw it all in the frying pan for 8 minutes, flipping regularly. afterwards, make sure your oven is preheated to 420 and put everything in a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until you get the desired look/taste.

i started with nothing, and finished with everything. it was awesome.

Here's some pulled pork I made earlier this summer (didn't know this thread existed)

And some blueberry salsa. I'm a nut for anything blueberrys. It was damn good but I should have used a few more jalepenos. I don't measure I read the recipe and then wing it after with portiOn sizes to kind of make it my own. Enjoy!

Made a 4 egg, spinach, cheddar, mushroom and maple-candied bacon frittata the other day... The easiest, most filling meal to whip up.

Couple things I've made and took pictures of:

Big Macs! About 1000% better than the real thing, used extra lean ground beef, and made my own Mac sauce (recipes are all over the net, the one I used was from Todd Willbur and was SPOT on) Couldn't find sesame seed buns, but man they were good. So good, I made two each

Pancakes! Fluffiest pancakes I've ever seen. Some like theirs thin, I like mine thick and fluffy. Poured over some real good maple syrup and they were to die for. Those 4 filled me up for thewhole day
