my 03 CLS6 vs stock 335i auto 4dr

I had my friend drive that i know is a good aggressive driver my dads rental 335i 4 door

we lined up on an open road for a 20 punch - 3 honks and were off-
I kind of bogged (but im sure he did too considering he might have been a bit heat soaked as well) but went to slam 2nd and he jump about 1/3 car in front ...wind-out second and no one gains until i shift into 3rd where he pulls up another 1/3 of a car and slowly had almost a full car on me....until i shift to 4th where i start to slowly reel him in ...we had to slow down bc there was some car ahead but i was at his front door and pulling slowly towards the end of 4th.

We did a U turn and tried a 40...with about the same results. I got home and realized my back driverside tire was almost flat... i knew it was a bit low but i didnt have time to get air ...we were in a hurry. so i was like DAMMIT that could have made the difference!!! hahaha Oh well i guess i got killed ...wish we could have had the rest of 4th gear and i had a full tire, i hate hypotheticals

OH AND IT WAS NOT AN XI for those who are wondering ALSO I HAVE a (?) which 335I is lighter 4door or 2door?

Thanks!

I'd imagine that tire did hurt you a bit, but Idk how much. That's a nice mod list and I'd definitely suggest a bigger collector with the 3" exhaust. If you don't go with a 'venturi' collector, I'd suggest a 3" collector to mate with your exhaust. Nice runs.
