My brother and I were driving home (seperate cars) and this Hyundai Tiburon V6 was trying to screw around with us.

My brother took off getting onto the highway, had to do at least 120. I was just going to let him go as I was in 6th and didnt feel like downshifting , but then the Tiburon gave chase. He passed me at about 90 (I was doing about 70) and I said "Oh hell no". I dropped to fourth and passed him at about 115 (he was doing maybe 105).

He got off at the next exit. I love those little Tiburons and also TCs. The owners think they are the fastest things on earth.

if ms3 is stock with your mods you eat it but if it is stage 1 or 2... they you will watch his tails :P i loose with stock ms3 but all depends on the driver ms3 is damn fast. ms6 is havier but its AWD so 0-60 is the same as ms3

it is nice, but when i test drove the is250(only because it was the only 6sp manual) it scared the hell out of me, i thought it was near redline even though there was still another grand to go. and the mph ring lights up when you're going over 100 or something like that....its quite annoying.

Was in my 3.0CL with no motor work done at all and was rolling beside a yellow 2000ish cavalier that was lowered , rims , front LS lip and thought this car was all looks.

Once we saw i was watching his car he started to shift very low and i knew i had him right when i heard he couldnt drive stick... at the red ligth we were checking eachothers car and on green...he was gone... ended up meeting him alittle down by a tim hortons and his intercooler was painted black....2.4L Turbo Cavalier with a gutted interior...My lose.

Very nice. Ive got an 88 Honda NT650. I am looking at picking up another bike soon though. I had it narrowed down to the Duc 848 and the Daytona 675, but I chose the 675. Im just waiting until the end of this year to do it. I want to pay my car note down a bit more.

My most fun recent kill was an '09 Camaro in light traffic. The guy was driving slow in the left lane and I pulled up next to him and paced him for a second and then took off in the middle lane, changing lanes up ahead to my left. He took the bait and came after me. We were weaving in/out of traffic. He passed me briefly at one point but got stuck behind a truck that closed a passing gap on him while I passed him in another lane. He knew he was done and dropped way back while I sped away. There is no way my aging '01 (stock) CL-S could toast a Camaro with a decent driver but it is always fun showing up some poser who thinks he is hot in his new sportscar!

My first real race since I’ve owned the car(I raced a Scion once but that doesn’t count). I was going to pick up my mother-in-law from work I’m sitting at a light and I notice a 2010 VW GTI in black behind the car next to me and I’m saying to myself those rims are so ugly the light turns green the car next to me makes a left and the GTI fly’s by me so I speed up and I’m praying the next light turns red so I’m like lets see what this thing’s got other then some ugly wheels. I pull up head to head with him look over he doesn’t look back the car rolls back a little so I know it’s stick. The light turns green we don’t take off I just stay with him then he gets on it once he got on it I was like YEAH then I jam on the gas(I’m still in first) once V-TEC engages I see the yellow exclamation blinking right under the RPMS(saying to myself should have taking off the VSA) we are head to head jam it into second he is still right there with me then I hit third and slowly start pulling on him and gain about a full car length and keep pulling I look at the speedometer and I’m passing 80 heading to 90 and I just cut off and apply the brake since i have to make the next right and he just zooms past me. I wasn’t expecting that thing to be that fast but that race had my blood flowing I had this big smile on my face. Oh btw all I have is a Injen CAI and that thing sounds great and I’ve had the car for about 2 years.

Well theres a reason to all this and why people are beating cars that are suppose to be quicker. I'm telling you guys all driver i have witnesses to prove it. I took off on the Cherokee srt-8 rolling 40 i dumped it into 2nd burning out and pulled a car on it and we started hitting turns as you all know american cars have no handles. I beat the Cherokee Srt-8, Charger SRT8 and 350z all on the same street it has slight turns that when i take it in my ksports they're nothing but with my teins going about 80 a little body roll so obviously a mustang, srt8 of any kind will not take me. This is street racing not a drag strip so i can care less if its from a dig or roll if you beat them you beat them.

Also a few days ago i was driving down an expressway and a s2k pull up and slowed down and so did his buddy in a rsx-s. As i heard them down shift and try to take off i down shifted to 2nd pulled to lanes to the left and pulled on both of them. Youngsters driving.

All cars have handles. The Jeep has 5 on the outside alone - one for each door and another for the hatch. Thats not counting the interior.

How slow were you going on the e-way to warrant a downshift to second gear? Im not calling BS on this or anything, just want to know so I can tell where in the power band the S2k was.

you can believe what you want i know what i beat and ill do it again. I have more then 4 witnesses that saw me take off since we were on our way to a photoshoot. This was a car full of mexicans, they pulled up to me asked me if i wanted to run i said fine. the guy sitting in the rear had a camcorder so he started video tapping as soon as it hit green i launch and got a whole car and a half then he pulled back to even until i shifted into 3rd i pulled another car slowed back down to 40 and ran again and i still beat them they didnt believe it either thought i had some crazy engine mods my shit is stock a blox velocity stack with the stock piping.

But not one single good video. In fact the only good quality videos I have seen here of a CLS racing, was loosing to a Mustang GT, and I think it was stock. The only other video's I've seen of a CLS beating anything worth while was only when the CLS was boosted.

As far as American cars not being able to handle, well that just ignorant. Sounds like something a dumbass ricer comment.
American cars hold some of the best records for handleing. CTS-V record holder for fastest sedan at Nubergring (Spelling) And the Cobalt SS holds the same record for a FWD car at the same track. ZR1 has a better skid pad then the GTR. The list goes on.

I have no problem with your argument, however I have to point out that the FWD record does not belong to the Cobalt. The Renault MéganeRS R26.R owns that one. That is a factory vehicle with optional tires (that you can get when you purchase the vehicle). The Renault beat the Chevy by just under 6 seconds.
