How to make my CL-S loud ?
hey there!
i just bought an Acura 2002 CL-S with an automatic transmission. i just wondered, is there any way i can make my acura sounds much louder in a cheap price ?
i was thinking about muffler delete and straight pipes but i don't think it's loud enough ..
So, any body have any suggestions ?
Thanks ..

Here's your cheapest mod to make it loud.....take your whole exhaust system off and run it open headers. I promise you that you will have the loudest car in your county.

I did midmuffler delete earlier in the week and it sounded like a g35. That wasn't loud enough for me so today I took my 2 mufflers out and now....lets just say my ears are still ringing from driving. lol i looove the sound tho.

All B.S. on the side, hands down this is the best way to make it louder...Remove headers, intake manifold, get 2 air horns, one for each hand, and right before a car passes by you bounce the engine off the rev limiter while squeezing both air horns and screaming at the top of your lungs while hanging your body out the window, and try to keep eye contact with the person passing you to see his reaction. Video tape it, stick it on YouTube and I gaurantee you by the end of the month you will make it on Oprah. I just made you a rich man...

Cheap way is simply to unbolt the axleback mufflers. Mid muffler delete will surely increase sound as well, here is how it sounds with just the axlebacks removed
Pretty loud, but not very loud!
Like what everyone is saying mid muffler delete + straight pipe muffler
Removing your cat as well!
Open headers is your best bet ,
maybe you can just unbolt the cat from the headers and run it open right there
that will be extremely loud and cheap, plus it will look like you have a full exhaust system ^_^

Or, after removeing all the exhaut, intake pipes and sound deadening, take it a step further by cutting a "sound directing" hole in your fire wall. Size of hole depends on level of "sound" desired.
