Yes I do, I really need to go back some day. My friend video'd that run and the car lurched off the line and took off again, I blamed it on FWD. I spun just a bit I think. My 60'was 2.28, so I lost a few tenths but the engine was happy that day therefore the good mph. Thanks, I think it could do a 14.15 @99 or so.

^ That's very impressive, especially the trap speed! I find that the CL-S guys can drive better than the TL-S drivers over at the TL forum.

16.6 @ 98mph.

With my swap and no nitrous. I had wheel hop in 1st and changed to 2nd gear at 5k rpms hoping to reduce it and get traction. 2nd gear had wheel hop badly again and went straight to 4th gear. After thinking about it, I went back down to 3rd gear, and then back to 4th. And I still came in @ 98mph,

My 2nd run I snapped my axle, stripped my half shaft, and blew my clutch off the line, haha. Never went again...

I would attribute that trap speed with the smaller tires. You effectively changed your gearing.

fuzzy, thats a pretty normal trap speed for headers/CAI/mufflers I would say.

If anything that should be a 13.7 run with a low 2.0 60'.

Also, if they really were 205/45/16 (u sure on this size rob g?), that would make them 23.5" overall, which is really really short. It would help 4th gear be closer to redline at the end, but I bet 1st and 2nd ran out very very quick, which can hurt your times.

You guys have slips? Those are really good times and traps for stock/almost stock 6speeds.

Not calling BS, its just nice to see the slips.

I can vouch for CivicB18B1 as i was there that day at the track. He did get 14.3 @ 99, if I'm not mistaken a few times as well.

Like my previous post says when the CL-6 first came out parts weren't exactly popular so i had to get prelude rims, which fit over the brakes by maybe 1/8 of an inch, with 205/45/16 Nitto 555R. About 6 months later the 245/45/17 Nitto 55R came out. These didn't even help much with the launch because they were so thin, they just stopped me from spinning in 2nd and 3rd on the upshifts and losing valuable mid run traction. I also ran a 9.01 1/8th mile at Acura Wars which some of the old school members around here would remember...on video that is but Zapata has been long gone on this forum and he was the only person with the video.
