You should show up to the next C&C with the IS-F looking at that. I would make sure I was there to see that

Went and did a shoot the other day since it was really nice out. They kinda look cool but are definitely to small and not flush enough. I do like how it lowers the overall height of the car. I had more pics of them that I was going to edit as well but the new wheels are here and about ready to install them so I guess I will just post them now.

FML someone just shoot me. Tonight was a lot of work and the end result sucked.

Washed car. Detailed car. Unwrapped millions of plastic wrap off wheels. Cleaned tire snot off tires. Cleaned wheels. Applied single coat of Poorboys Wheel Sealant, was to much of a bitch to do more. Noticed one wheel was low on air. Figured what the hell installed all for wheels. Turns out wheel has air leak. Stupid 3pc wheels. No idea if the air leak is in the wheel or result of the tire.

Only positive is they look sick. So disgusted. So much for Spring IA Meet.

Don't know calling them tomorrow. Probably will have me take to a tire shop first and see if they just losen the tire and then repop it out over the bead if that fixes it. If not then the wheel needs to be dissasembled and resealed and will either need to send back or find a local place to do it. Such shitty feeling right now. Well off to bed.

Hopefully found the issues. Refilled the tire this morning and listened for the leak. Found one used water to isolate it and found to more. They are all on the rear edge of the tire. Hopefully I can get a shop to press the tire off the bead and then re-pop it out and it will seal.

Well everything was great. The company rush built my order for me. Got them to me in time that I needed them. It was just a bit disappointed after 7 hours of work on the car last night to have this the end result. THIS IS NO FAULT of the wheel company though. Tires not seating right happens all the time.

If you can go to a local shop and get the tire issue taken care of, sounds like you'll have these on just in time for Atlanta.

Did the exhaust drone ever go away?

The exhaust drone is still there but it is the result of running no resonator. However the level of the drone dropped in about half of what it was after about 2000-2500 miles. On a daily basis it doesn't bother me at all. However it is still annoying towards the end of a long trip like the anything more than 5 or 6 hours. However its worth it. So super happy with the exhaust.

Fill the tire up with air, fill your bathtub up and stick the wheel in there. Look for leak. thats what i would do.

Well I did similar by filling the gap around the tire and wheel with water to see air bubbles. I don't really want to carry the wheel up stairs to a bath tub.

The tint is Johnson Window Film. To my knowledge it is just regular black tint nothing special. It was about 1pm so the son was at the highest point so it was creating terrible lighting marks which I attribute for the look of the windows. I also wish I had done with something a little darker.

i went 35% 3M black chrome. definitely not dark enough with the ecru interior...but im hoping to get away with no penalties when the lease is up. anyway, im getting that bad boy dropped on Tein S in 2 days. cant wait!

That sounds awesome post pics once it is done. I will be doing suspension next as well although I really only want to lower the front now. I think with the new wheels the rear looks perfect.

I did a bit a research to find a place that should be good and it paid off as they were great. Re-did the rear bead put in some bead lock and did it all for no cost.

Just got redone mounting the two front wheels again and will check each hour to make sure it is holding air still.

So here is a sneak peak. I will get proper photos later but for now I have to get back to working since I took that way early lunch break to get that fixed.

Even with going up in size 19x8 to 20x9 the fronts only gained .8 lbs and the rear from 19x9 to 20x11 I only gained 4.4lbs. I think for the added traction makes up for the few gained lbs of weight.

Here you go fstty some proper rubber on the rear now 295/25/20

I can't wait till later on today I am going to see if I can even break the rear loose anymore in a straight line since I gained 1.6in of rubber.

those wheels are a perfect match. classic, yet sporty. youll never get tired of them.

look-wise alone, the exhaust makes all the difference in the world. you just went from rinky-dink fake quad tips to ferrari status.

as for the drop...I guess the IS-F has basic F-Sports springs? If so, thats a 1.0" drop over the standard non-F RWD IS. Maybe you could swap the springs for Tein S(1.7F/1.0R) or H&R(1.5F/1.5R). IMO, the IS has too much front gap, so i went with the Teins. i would recommend doing the same if its the front wheel gap that you wish to negate.

Don't know I overslept. It lost 2psi on the way home. I filled it up before going to bed and haven't checked it yet.
