2012 Dodge Charger SRT. Updated (3/19/20)
Just picked up a brand new 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8. This will eventually be my build thread. Tried checking out a Charger forum but they're not as organized as Acurazine.

Thanks fellas. Already got the windows tinted. Thinking of buying some Mopar springs that will give me a .75 inch drop..nothing too drastic. Doing some research on trying to beef up the exhaust with little to no drone inside preferably. Anyone have any exhaust recommendations?

Fucking badass!!!
I LOOOOOVE the new charger. Did you opt to not get the blacked out bumper, or was that one they had on the lot?
I would love to have a white srt charger with the blacked out front and radar red interior....There is one I see on the streets near me, and its just so fucking sexy.
Congrats and drive that beast hard!!!

Also, just a heads up
There is currently no tuning available on the 6.4...or any of the Chryco engines 2011 and up. They have promised it will come in some form...but no one knows when.
There IS an an ECU swap that people have been doing with good results.

They are probably the largest. They organize the annual Spring Fest of LX with heavy participation from dodge every spring. Its the one event I try not to miss every year and it gets bigger and bigger, especially with Dodge's backing. Ralph Gilles has been there mingling with the public the last two years.
So, it should be a really great resource.

I like the front grill of the SRT better than the non SRT models and the long tail light also. Plus all the features it has was the deciding factor for me.

Apparently customers were complaining about having the all black fascia that made the front end look like an Evo so Dodge offered to have it painted the same color as the body. I believe the wording used was "center stripe delete option".

Congrats! Looks beautiful.
Driving impressions?
Love looking at the behind of the new Chargers, especially at night.
Megatron Pajamas.
Will it be 470/470 for long?

Holly smokes, congrats!!! If I could afford a new car this would be it.. Can't wait to see some performance/dress up mods go on that beast!
I believe the 8spd auto is only available on the 6cyl, not the 8cyl, which is a shame.
