Congrats! Looks like a beast.

How do you like the seats? I've only heard good things about them.

You sure you won't miss the MT much?

Thanks Aman! The seats are super comfortable and look great, so no complaints there. We'll see how hot they get in the Tennessee summer though.

I might miss a manual down the road, but out of the 8 previous cars only 2 were automatics, so it's nice to actually take a break for a while. Plus the MS6 had a fairly heavy clutch pedal feel to it so it was a pain in a lot of traffic. This car feels like it was made for just sitting back and cruising, so that's what I will do.

I had a feeling you'd like the color, Bob.

Sure we can race and I can admire the a5s end of the vagon as it blows by my measly 5.7L Hemi lol.

be prepared for lots of dudes with "little dick" syndrome.

I swear the dumbest people always get uppity around my car when I drive it. This time it was some putz in lancer (not an evo) and some legend who didnt want to let me merge in, when I had right of way...he didnt succeed.

^ Funny enough the other day a kid in a blue 'Stang with a spare on the front fishtailed it through a 4 way intersection while I was waiting at the other stop sign. I just chuckled as he almost lost it and crashed.

Already this car is exceeding my expectations. Granted the computer is a little generous at +1mpg (the actual math worked out to 20.8 mpg) but for 60/40 highway/city and a lot of WOT fun I definitely can't complain after my first full tank.

Heh...dont get used to it...it'll probably get a little better when you get a tuner...then it just starts to drop when you really start to mod

But right now...you're lucky cause I think you get to use mid-grade with the auto tranny...even though when you tune you'll probably go premium...the 6spds are always premium from the factory.

Thanks Kev! Sorry your guys Mazdas were such let downs. Mine on the other hand wasn't, it was just time for a change. The Speed6 was an awesome car in it's own right.

Thanks man. I love your new 300 as well. Yeah the mileage surprised me a bit, but I also haven't abused it at all, just the occasional WOT outburst.

Yeah I know I probably shouldn't get used to it since my main driving will be more like 80 city/20 highway. It can actually take 87 octane but that's not happening. I've been using premium. I'm working on the programmer now, waiting to hear back from a LX member. I know once I do what I want to do to it it'll be hard to see anything close to 20mpg, but for now I'm loving it.

Well for one I have MDS aka cylinder deactivation and I'm down like 50hp on you, and as I said above I'm not driving it like I stole it... yet.

Thanks man. Yeah it's a whole different kind of fun than a turbo'd 4 banger. I enjoyed the thrust of the MS6's mid-range but the instant torque from the HEMI is just as nice. OK it's nicer lol.

Completed my first mod this morning. Took off the door moldings and the dealer sticker on the back trunk. Unfortunately the front license plate frame is going to have to stay on since there's four huge holes and some decent scratches underneath, but I'll be replacing the dealer plate with a MOPAR plate soon.

Onto the photos...

Acurazine has single-handedly made me like the Charger (...and many other cars!). Don't know why I didn't post this in my first post, but I like that color too. Can't wait to see what you do to it.

It will go lower, but right now it's low (pun intended) on the priority list.

I know the feeling man. When Sarlacc and Deltabox got the Challengers and then Fuzzy got the 300C SRT8 I was wishing for a HEMI. I never really though much about the Chargers until I sat in a 300C SRT8 and knew it wasn't for me. Just didn't fit my style. But then I started looking at the Chargers R/Ts more and more and with the right wheels/color I started really liking them and then when I found mine online I was absolutely sold on them.

I'm totally fine with taking the engine cover off. It's ugly. I was going to for the photos but the engine needs some dusting. I freaking love the 6.1 intake manifold. That's going to be on my list of goodies I'm sure.

Thanks bro! And thank you for being such a wealth of information on the Speeds. I loved my MS6 but it was just time for a change.

Thanks! It's great to be part of the family with 470hp monsters among us haha!

I'm not going to lie I was definitely nervous, but I took my time and used a hair dryer with light pressure. The only issue I had was on the passenger front door I had a tiny bit of bubbling underneath the molding. I bought a $3 can of Turtle Wax rubbing compound and a $3 pack of cotton applicators from K-Mart, went home and buffed the bubbles down to where they're almost impossible to see and extremely hard to detect running your fingers across the door. I was definitely sh*tting bricks when I saw them but luckily they were small enough to buff out. The 3 other doors were perfect underneath and only required a wet microfiber cloth to get the dirt and remaining adhesive off.

Funny, I have the same problem with guys in Challengers/Chargers/Magnums.

Congrats on the new ride. Good luck with her. Oh, and please dont be one of those guys.
