Installation happened yesterday and went well. But, as usual, I've been working non-stop this holiday weekend.

After I get off the radio today I'll get some pictures of them. It's sunny and 66 degrees today-better take advantage of the fantastic weather.

btw, don't want to dig through threads, you done headers, exhaust, and a tune? Cam or anything yet? Curious how they do compared to the LS motors and I haven't been following much.

There was nothing there previous.

The only mod I've done to the engine is adding a hi-flow air filter.

Bad Steven...BAD!

They certainly don't look bad but they do look a bit out of place. I would want CF to be an accent piece, not something I see everywhere I look

yea, not feeling this piece.

Stop spending money on carbon fiber tchotchkes and find excuses to have to replace rubber! Don't take this the wrong way, but it's just a corvette...drive the living piss out of the thing.

Relax guys-this is strictly an accent piece....hardly noticeable. I like it-the Stingray is basically done.

I don't think I'm adding an exhaust without headers. I looked at a Corsa exhaust at Bloomington Gold. It was $2,000, it added 20 horsepower. I couldn't pull the trigger because I'm not paying $2,000 for only 20 HP. The car already sounds fantastic. If I'm paying $2,000, it damn well better give me more than 20 horsepower.

Headers are fine, but are not worth it unless you are going for an exhaust too. As more aftermarket companies come out with performance piece, I'm keeping my eye on what's on the market.

If I want more power, I can always trade up to a ZO6/ZO7!

I like the last option SB. Dump this car and get a Z. Or you get rid of the TL, keep the Vette and get an even bigger toy for the weekend.

Steven is thinking like a responsible adult. Good thinking...if it already sounds fantastic, great!

What I will say to mull over is that with intake, header and exhaust, there is likely ability to tune it to net you a LOT more horsepower than the 20 you'd get with an unsupported mod.

Looks great overall and I'm sure I'd love to own and drive one.

This. You'd be amazed what a tune with I/H/E will do especially on GM engines. And trust me Steven, there's plenty of tuners in KC.

Oof...see, now THAT I'd consider.

I wouldn't be too shocked to see more like 100HP overall gain from those mods and a tune...just a guess but I have a feeling I'm not too far off.

That's 64whp Steven. SIXTYFOUR. To the wheels!

This isn't bad at all. 12s on street tires and 11s on what I can only assume are radials.

In 2015, my New Year's resolution was to get more Carbon Fiber for the Corvette.

I've done that in fine fashion. 3 new things are ordered. I hope they'll be here by the end of the month.
